      may i ask how did you even get that info? DOS phone calls? i can get nothing except "in AP processing" from DOS and when we email the london embassy we get only auto response saying "in AP timeframe is unknown". when did you get your senator involved?

      I have been calling the embassy. DOS just say in AP and no time frame for it to be completed. I called my senator yesterday to ask for their help. They did help us with the petition as we were past the 5 months and the very next day after they called, we had our approval. They did say they were starting with DOS, as they can have them look further into why it is taking so long and won't get the standard we message we would be getting.
