I reckon it's viral marketing for the new ''It''. Other than that, it's just a month until Halloween, so plenty of time where crazy persons come out of the woodwork and start trends.

I still believe he is murdering people who oppose him and this killing drug dealers and offenders is a cover. My little conspiracy theory on the issue.

Honestly, I think Lib could have been saved had folks who liked him told him to reign it in. The left trying to check him didn't work, but folks who identified like he did could have made a difference.
When Jinx and Operator got into it, I did everything I could to mediate between the two. And even though Jinx left later on he did take the time to say thanks for showing him a different perspective. If we are to learn anything and keep this place alive, we need to self police our own members.

I liked Asylum, Coven, and Freak Show. Angela Bassett was on fire in Coven! Runner up is Misty Day for the most gangster line in the series!

Hey, let me know when they tell you how he was supposed to end racism AND fix all the bad neighborhoods in 8 years. I'm dying to know!

I stand in solidarity with you sister!
And I'm out already. You must love that WP.
Actually, folks care greatly. Just when you get killed, it's usually(not all the time) not in front of your kids, or laying in the streets with your hands in the air. Hell, I've seen white dudes shoot cops and still get their rights read like he ran a red light.
    But this is two fold.
    1. Cops aren't out here hunting you. Most time the interaction is friendly and even so if not, they take great care in making sure they arrest you the proper way. As a cop once said, when the perp is black, I take precautions for just me, when he is white, I take them for me AND him.
    2. If you really think this is true, then why don't white people DO something about it? It's been said here that cops kill you in boatloads. And yet, you believe the cops before you believe anything else. Worse still, only when something happens to you, action will take place.

It's framed that way because of the actions of the police. If you think about it. that number is what WE know about. We've seen the reports about cops planting evidence, lying to protect each other, and falsifying documents to lock black men up. The investigations that show PDs in black neighborhoods are full of racism and corruption. And it's like I said here, you have a site full of folks who think everyone is out to get them, even where there's no evidence of this. But the two members who are saying here look at this, they are ACTUALLY trying to get us, we have the receipts to prove it, we're the ones who are nuts. But that's what happens when you live in a country that has criminalized an entire race of people for centuries. When cops become bold enough to say let's go and kill some black people and be confident that they won't be prosecuted for it, that should make any normal human being pause. That's the bridge incident. They went hunting for black people, like rabbits.
BLM has some work to do. The negative elements need to go away, but protest isn't pretty. And folks are mad. I know I was screaming F the police after I almost lost my life to the cops. And every time I was stopped, every time my profession was questioned, every time I had to take the long way home since driving through certain parts guaranteed a traffic stop, that didn't help. The dialogue on both sides needs to be addressed. And as long as black men and women are being brutalized and shot on film, it's not going to get better.
Where do you get this stuff? Black drivers have to go out of our way to be courteous because asking routine questions can get you tased in front of your kids.
Good idea, why don't you come up with a POA and I'll pass it along. Since you think an organization that formed 4 years ago can take on something that's been happening for about 60 years. I'll wait for your outline.

But this thread is about the crime and murder that happens in the PI. Seeing that a few of you have relatives there...
Who's not up in arms? You have Moms Demand Action, you have Moms that stand out on the street corners and give out hugs and try to get the kids off the streets. But you won't see this on the media.
Actually hell holes were created by the powers that be who demanded segregation and kept black people confined to the ghettos. My grandfather was one of them. I know you want to blame liberals, but this mess was already here way before the Democrats took over when the GOP threw us to the wolves.

    you never said what?
pretty sure the mdl has been against extrajudicial killing. that's pretty much it.
i'm sitting here scratching my head as to why the numerous groups that are working to end the violence in chicago that i've linked to are never considered? over and over and over, how many times do you need to be told (not just you - the whole 'we care so much about thugs in chicago' crew) that people are working tirelessly and selflessly to help the inner city youth not just in chicago, but all over this county. when you have 21% of all american children living in poverty you can fully expect those children to find substance and support from gangs. we know how this works and we know how to best combat further violence.
if these lives mattered to you (white kids are in gangs too, omgosh) you'd be encouraged with this information but it always seems to manifest on cehst as disappointment and refusal to acknowlege these efforts even exist.
and police, maybe you should research what the thoughts and involvement of many police officers in chicago are in these efforts to end violence. every time you refuse to acknowledge the efforts of the public in ending the violence - you're also refusing to acknowledge the efforts and sacrifices of chicago police officers. not a good look.

it is interesting though that you support duerte's approach and then post about a gang challenge in la to see which can off 100 folks quickest. would it have helped if these gangs had specified to only kill other gang members?

We were not talking about USA politics. What I meant by saying it was topical right wing is because you people find a way to bash and blame Obama and liberals for anything.
And like anyone on the right cares what happens in inner-city Chicago. It is just a talking point for you.
Now can we get back on topic?
And I'm not a left wing extremist. Far from it.

Don't take this as me saying anything against your wife, but usually people sanction things that they feel they will not be affected by. When you are removed or feel you are removed it is easy to look the other way. It only becomes a problem when it personally affects you, like your child, or neice or friend, etc.
If she placed herself in the situation and think, what if my family is wrongfully accused she'd think differently. It's an unfortunate situation all around.
Maybe he should spend more resources on keeping the drugs out of his country and improving the economy. As long as their is poverty people will be easily exploited.

well now i hear those lovely crickets in the fall you were swooning over. if black on black crime is a thing - then logic would dictate that white on white crime is a thing. it's such a huge problem, as a fellow white person what are we in the white community doing to combat this issue of white on white crime?
    i'll wait, enjoying the crickets..
