DROGS I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY CALL THE BANK FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, BUT LIKE I SAID BEFORE, THERE'S NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT THIS WASN'T THE WORK OF SOMEONE WORKING FOR USCIS AND I'M STICKING BY THAT UNLESS I HAVE PROOF THAT IT WASN'T... WE LIVE IN A VERY CRUEL WORLD NO MATTER YOUR BACKGROUND, RACE, HOW PROFESSIONAL YOU ARE, THE AMOUNT OF DEGREES YOU HAVE UNDER YOUR BELT, OR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE ETC... THE FACT IS THAT EVERYONE IS HUMAN, AND JUST BECAUSE WERE DEALING WITH USCIS DOESN'T MAKE SOMEONE THAT WORKS FOR USCIS INCAPABLE OF DOING SOMETHING LIKE THIS... IT JUST AMAZES ME THE CONSEQUENCES THAT PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR PULLING STUNTS LIKE THIS.

The K1 is not designed for people to "get to know" each other. If you dont know if you are ready to spend the rest of your life with this person, please do us all a favor and don't do the K1. It would definitely shorten the number of applications and would speed up the process for those of us who are. There is a tourist Visa for those that arent sure. You can learn alot about someone in 90 days and it could save time and money by bringing out potential problems before jumping into the K1 visa process. My best advice, for this or anyone considering getting married, if you arent 100% sure, DONT Do it! Just my 2 cents.

luisarsema reacted to Kammo in Need your Skype History? (Mac User)
    Hello VJ!
I have received so much help from all of you here that I wanted to share something I found today in hopes to give back a little! I apologize if I have put this topic in the wrong forum! I just know that we all look for ways to prove a relationship and this one seemed useful!
Are you a mac user and want to use your Skype history for one of your "Proof of Relationship" ties?
I just used this application today and worked really well for for our call log! We have about 400 pages worth of history (counting chat). This bad boy took it down to a mere 12 pages of CALLS! (perfect for those who would like to remain somewhat private and exclude the text)! It saves it all as HTML. Just hit print and save as PDF! Presto!
Here is the link to the skype website I found this on:
    http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=26268
The download for it is about 2/3's down. It is listed by a user named jas000. I wish there was a less complicated way to post this but here you go!
    *Sending everyone luck*

luisarsema reacted to alibaba16 in i need all the question the consula can ask me in my next interview
"what type of feminine hygiene products does your wife use??" If my husband actually knew that I'd be worried. The products are in the bathroom but I don't think that's the kind of stuff men notice.
Do we actually need to practice these questions? Seems outrageous.

and my wife just got finished with her interview today and told me she got approved.
This is mainly for those who are in the same boat as me who were really paranoid and scared to file single since turbotax wouldnt push me through as married. I filed as single thinking it doesnt matter since she's in the philippines anyways then i read on here that there are cases that have been denied because of it.
I'm just here to let you guys know that it was ok in my case.
    Good luck to you guys.

El- I just read all 7 pages. I wish you the best of luck and have no advise as I know nothing of these issues. I did want to mention that through all the posts I found some things that were really refreshing. First, it is obvious that you are very well educated with a good head on your shoulders. Next, I began to dream about my love in Colombia and some of the times we have spent together when you spoke about your husband and his successful business on the Mediterrean. Ah... a nice boat, good music, and good times with the one we love.
You go get the best atty money can buy and get your man here. In the meantime, I don't have any idea of the uphill battle or the timeframe you are looking at to potentially get him here, but go be with him first chance you can. Enjoy a few days on that boat or on the beach and forget about this whole process for at least a few days. You deserve happiness. Human nature says you will talk about this issue and vent the entire time you are there. Make it a point to forget about this issue for at least a few days and just love each other and enjoy those special moments before you have to start thinking about this issue again.
    Best of luck

You should never post anything on your Facebook profile that you would not USCIS officer to see:

It takes very little time to do the actual review, but you have to wait in line until it is your turn. Kinda like going to a popular movie and you have to wait in line to buy your tickets.

Just to clarify some points that have been tossed around...
You cannot withdraw the petition. She entered the US with the K1 visa, so the benefit requested with the petition has already been granted and used. The K1 petition was closed when she entered the US.
VAWA has provisions for an unmarried victim of domestic violence to receive assistance from the US government. However, the immigration benefits of VAWA are only available to the SPOUSE of a US citizen or LPR. She didn't marry the petitioner, so she can't get a green card through VAWA, regardless of whether or not she has any evidence.
So far, she hasn't violated any laws. Just as you aren't compelled to marry her, she is likewise not compelled to marry you. However, USCIS will certainly want to know what happened so that it can be noted in her case file. If nothing else, this would be considered should anyone else ever petition for her. Tell USCIS that she pulled a runner and has hooked up with someone else, and that you no longer intend to marry her.
If she ends up talking to anyone who knows anything about immigration law then she'll discover she's cut off her only pathway to remain legally in the US. Don't be surprised if she comes back begging. Be very very careful.
