Does my husband needs to include our son as his household member... My son & I still lives here in the Philippines. And my hubby doesn't include us yet to his tax as dependents... Thanks friends...

I'm glad someone else made this point as I've seen others confused by this.
There are actually to different "proof of marriage" documents from NSO:
One is the NSO Marriage Certificate or as my wife calls it our Marriage Contract which is the document we both signed just on NSO security paper.
The CEMAR or Certificate of Marriage(s) is basically just a list of all recorded marriages for the subject. I would include previous marriages and annotations of foreign divorce/annulment if there are previous marriages. This is why it's sometimes asked for, to confirm the absence of or proper disposition of previous marriages. In cases with a child it would also show if the child was born out of wedlock which affects other requirements (travel consent & clearance).
You got it right...

yeah we have a nso certified CERT OF MARRAIGE. the agency probley did explain it to her and she just didn't ...
yup agencies sometimes can cause you delays and not really concern on the application perse and worst its just a waste of money... Anyway VJ can do real "help" to most of us
good luck on your journey...

My wife if preparing for her interview in manila philippines.. we are both a little confused on part of it tho... the agency she is useing is telling her to get a CENOMAR..."CERT OF NO MARRIAGE". THE PREPARING FOR THE INTERVEIW DOC'S FROM THE EMBASSY STATES
"CERTIFICATE OF NO MARRIAGE RECORD (CENOMAR). If you have never been married, a CENOMAR (Singleness) issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO) and printed on NSO security paper should be submitted. You may call the NSO Information Center at (632) 737-1111 to inquire about securing a CENOMAR or visit their web site at http://www.census.gov.ph."
"IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN MARRIED"
My question is we are married. so does she still need to show a CENOMAR and if so how would we get one being that she is married and it will show up in the NSO files....
Help need asap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will fill up the CENOMAR form from NSO, and since your wife was already married then the result will be the other way around & that will be the certificate of marriage... or CEMAR... Same process the result will depends upon the real status of the filer
hope that helps...

My husband submitted a spousal affidavit with a short timeline of our relationship. and it was notarized... Still waiting for NOA2 anyway... July 6 was our NOA1... I think there's nothing wrong in sending documents that will help establish the on-going relationship... GOD bless...

Ok... I'll just stick with the regular process then... THANK YOU...
-
No.. it won't have any affect on the approval it just means it will take the normal processing instead of expedite... the approval of the i130 depends upon the information from petitioner/beneficiary etc has nothing to do with expedite request.
ok, thank you... We still don't know if our reason will be granted but we will try...
-
If the request for I-130 expedite was not approve will this affect the process itself? I mean like denial during the interview? I'm sorry I'm kinda paranoid here...
-
You call wherever your case currently is and give them your reason for expedite. You will then be asked to fax supporting information- or may get a message later to do so. What is your reason for expedite?
I sent you a private message thank you
-
Hi can somebody please help us on where to send a request for expedite? Is there any template or pattern for the request? Thanks so much
-
I sent a letter to the California Service Center asking them to expedite my case due to personal circumstances. Two days after they received my letter, my case was approved and I received a hard copy letter in the mail regarding my approval. Now, can I ask the NVC office to expedite my case for the same reasons the CSC did or will that letter be already transferred to the NVC office with my other documents, please?? Thank you!
I'm sorry but what kind of circumstances are they consider for the case to be expedited? Thanks

HEY MAY FILERS
Has anyone else got an RFE i just got one last friday on August 5. I sent it back on 8/6.
My priority date is 5.5.11
Hi what is your rfe?
-
As long as you pay all your taxes and have current income above 125% poverty guideline... You should be fine!
Good luck on wifey's interview
God bless...

previous income might help but the present income is the most important thing...
-
The waiting part is the hardest... If I can just fast forward everything
hopes that everything will work out well for us all... Hoping & PRAYING...
GOD bless us all <3
-
You can send a letter from anywhere in the world if you like
In case you receive an RFE you have to include the blue letter that comes with the RFE with your response
The more you delay your responses to RFE the more you will wait for your approval
thanks
-
hey VJ peeps can my husband send an rfe to uscis or our nvc documents while he's here in the Philippines using fedex or any other express mail services?
-
Did he file taxes in 08 and 09? It could be that he did not file taxes so they are sending the forms for him to fill out to do his taxes.
yes he certainly did
-
My husband called the IRS & requested for his latest 3 year 1040, he then received a blank 1040 forms for 2008,2009 & then... what is that?
and do the NVC accepts photocopy of the taxes they are requiring? thank u
