  1. No, my husband mailed it on June 29th then we got the NOA-1 on July 6 but the actual receipt date on the I-797 form is July 5. Thats exactly 3 working days from the mailing date. Dont worry Pars, you will get yours too soon. We mailed ours 1 day ahead of you. Hopefully you will have your NOA-1 today or tomorrow.

ah ok sorry sis naduling ako hehehe... grabe ako ata nakalimutan na ng uscis =(

  2. did u include the G-1145 form or no ? (It's ok if you didn't)

yes we sent G-1145 but another prob is that my husband sent our i-130 into a wrong lockbox instead of sending it to the address for regular mail, he sent it the other way around... we haven't received any notice yet. We filed it june 30 =(

  3. VSC has historically been slower than the rest of them.

I would like to think that might be more expedited requests due to the Japan's situation and also a lot of applications from Haiti requesting extended stay or adjustment of status. It is true that the fees keep going up but than again keep in mind that so does the deficit :P

I will pay whatever they want us to pay as long as they bring my spouse here quickly

Some people say that this long proccess is a test and worth the wait. I say it might be worth the wait but it is definitly not a test to how strong the union could be.I have collected all documents and i am ready to go as soon as i get that e-mail/text. 2 months is not a long time by most standarts but it feels like a life time.

hi I know Its kinda sptupid, but how would you know if csc already received your package? thanks

  4. Hi VJ Members,

Any July 2011 IR-1/CR-1 filers out there? Please post any updates from you.

My husband actually filed our I-130 for me and our son last June 29. But I considered myself as a July filer since it was almost July when our I-130 was filed.

Hopefully our entire visa journey will all be smooth sailing and fast!

I'm just curious coz as far as i know if you're in manila and you and your USC husband has a child you don't need to petition them anymore instead you can file a crba for your baby here in USEM manila... So they can get a US passport.

  5. You shouldn't. If they return the form, they'll return your entire package including your payment. Then you (or your husband) can correct the form, then send it back in.

thanks for the enlightenment... I've been depressed these past few days because o this... thanks for helping out...

  6. They may send you a NOAD which basically rejects the form i-130 and you would have to fill out and send corrected. At least this is what i was told when I called the service # with a similar issue.

I am sure someone with more experience with this will add to my answer.

    Good luck

thanks but do we need to pay another $420 for this?
