Looking for encouragement rather than a lecture because it s too late now.

My fianc and I think we might be getting left behind. More than half of August cases have been filed now and we just have a bad feeling. We are wondering if we perhaps sent too much.

Could a petition take longer because you sent too much evidence? Every source and YouTube video told us to send everything we could so we wanted to make sure we did enough and now I m thinking we made a big mistake. But hopefully just overthinking it.

We sent everything required and our evidence was the following:

1 side of A4 letters of intent for petitioner and beneficiary

A booklet of proof of our three meetings in person including: many photos with captions, boarding passes, confirmation of buying tickets, hotel confirmations, receipts for meals we had, text conversations we had with each other, texts with family, receipts for gifts bought for my family, bank statements to prove transactions in each others countries.
A booklet of further proof of intent to marry including: engagement photos, text conversations, Instagram conversations, texts with family and friends making plans for the engagement, congratulations texts, engagement cards

A booklet of proof of ongoing long distance relationship: a few text screen shots from each month we were talking (October-August), same with Instagram, posts we have done on Facebook and Instagram of each other to show social media acknowledgement of relationship, gifts we have sent to each other, screenshots of our paired app, text conversations with each others family and friends.

we thought it was really comprehensive and would show that we were in an honest relationship and engaged therefore free to marry. Now we worry maybe no one wants to look through our petition because there is too much..

please just tell us we are being dumb and overthinking.

Is something up with interview date data for k1? I see you have NOA2 wait has decr by almost 50% but interview is still 4-5months??? It says Oct NOA1 filers are interviewing on ave now, I'm in Oct filer group and majority I know have already been in US for months. Are people just not entering data after NOA2 or is it dominated by slow embassys (canada and aus etc)?

I met my amazing girlfriend who is now my wife and we have gotten very close overtime. We met June 2022 and we recently got married remote through Utah. I am a legal U.S. citizen and she came here as an international student from Nepal. She has her passport and citizenship from Nepal but now she is in the UK on a 2 year high potential individual visa and living with her family while working.

We are looking to file the I-130 form and I-864 form since I do not have pay stubs for more than a year.

We have already done the consummation process in London. We had an amazing time and took so many pictures, we have receipts, plane tickets, and letters from friends proving our relationship.

So now we can begin the process!

Correct me on my knowledge of what needs to be done. We file I-130 and I-864 and wait. Once it gets approved, we obtain the CR1. Netc she would go to a medical facility in London for the doctor check. Next she would have her interview. Then she gets approved to come to America.

Questions:

1. Is an immigration lawyer necessary ? Does it look more legit if a lawyer processes the paperwork or no ?

2. What is the usual waiting time for the CR1 process and for her being in America ?

3. We are getting an Apostille from Utah, since she is from Nepal, do we list Nepal as the country or the UK on the Apostille(Country Where Your Documents Will Be Used) ?

4. Will they go through the Nepal embassy or the Uk embassy for this process ? Again her citizenship and passport are from Nepal but she is in the UK on a HPI Visa.

5. Please give advice and ask any questions on things I did not make clear.

6. Can we file I-130 and I-864 form together or separately ?

7. Does the whole process take under 14 months since they are not backed up by Covid cases anymore ?

Does only one person file I-130 ?

I requested for a print out of summary of care records from the GP on feb 13, they said it would take 4-6 weeks. I rang today to see if it would be posted to me or do i collect it? the receptionist said they have a backlog as their printer Is not working and do not know when it will be repaired. I asked them if they could email me and I could print it out they said they cannot do that as it is a huge file. It made me so anxious that what do i say at the medicals sorry i dnt have the care record from GP coz their printer was not working??!!!

I rang them again it s feels like they dnt have any idea of what i need , i explained again- the receptionist said this is not important to them as they have a lot of pts with illness that needs drs input.

How do i navigate this? What do i do? Do i have to pay for this? No where in the website it says it requires a fee. I would pay if thats what it is. I just want to cry

Has some one been in this situation? How long did it take to receive the print out? Thanks.
