Just been wondering, how long on average does it take to receive the receipt notice in the post from filling you I-129F and them receiving it?

if anyone could give me an idea it would be greatly appreciated

RFE For Proof of Citizenship (Passport)

Hi there everyone!

We got our RFE letter in the mail today and it's asking us to "submit a passport for proof of citizenship for you and your beneficiary".

Just to make sure we're gonna do everything right, this is just to provide a scan/picture of the information page of the passport, right? I was thinking just because of the wording that we could submit both our passports just be sure, even though it doesn't seem like the beneficiary's is required? Just to make sure we're not gonna get denied.

It's a little bit scary, especially since we sent in the petitioner's birth certificate but oh well, these things happen!

Thank you in advance for the help :)!

Hi all,

It's just more of a quick query really, is it best to send the form to P.O Box or is it okay or better/same to send it via Fedex?

Hello visa community friends,

I am after some help again .

I entered the US on 15th September and married my Fianc on 10th October ( I am a British citizen).

Our marriage license has been sent to the city hall ( last Tuesday) and I m awaiting my marriage certificate copies to arrive.
I have a US bank account already.

I am wanting advice about my driving license, my husband and I are looking to purchase a car together in the next week or so. My question is, should I await my marriage certificate to avoid having to change my name on my drivers license or should I just get on with the drivers license process. I am in Boston, Massachusetts and will have to do a written exam and a physical test in my own car from what I can gather.

I just don t really want to waste any time as we have a lot to do.

if anyone has any tips for someone newly married, changing their name to their spouses name and trying to navigate their first few months in the US I d be very grateful.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Lesley
