Hey so I have my interview in 2 weeks and the closer it gets the more nervous I get.. I have no idea why. I came here 2017 on esta, me and my husband got married a week before I was leaving, I then ofcourse stayed, adjusted status and since then we ve had a baby together (he ll be 2 in January)and we ve been married 3 and a half years. I filed my paperwork august 2019 and I got my interview letter 2 weeks ago. I keep reading of people saying they may think you committed fraud if you got married within that 90 days.. some saying you can t adjust from esta...(not on posts from me, just posts that other people have created on a fb group in part of). obviously I did all this research before even filing the paperwork but now I m so nervous that they re gonna reject my application... any words of advice? anyone else with the same experience? What do I take to the interview, how many pics/ how much other pieces of evidence do you take? Thank you in advance

Hi everyone, If anyone can assist me with the questions below it would be greatly appreciated. Does this have to be filled in or can it be left blank for questions 27 and 28? I've looked at the form instructions and still not sure if it applies to me, I'm doing an AOS from a J1 visa (teacher) 27. Eligibility Category. Refer to the Who May File Form I-765 section of the Form I-765 Instructions to determine the appropriate eligibility category for this application. Enter the appropriate letter and number for your eligibility category below (for example, (a)(8), (c)(17)(iii)). 28. (c)(3)(C) STEM OPT Eligibility Category. If you entered the eligibility category (c)(3)(C) in Item Number 27., provide the information requested in Item Numbers 28.a. - 28.c. 30.a. Have you EVER been arrested for, and/or charged with, and/or convicted of any crime in any country? I've received a speeding ticket from a sheriff and it was then lowered to faulty equipment. I paid it immediately and didn't go to court. Do I put yes or no? Thank you in advance for helping!

Hello Not sure if there is any information out there around this but here goes.. A question popped into my mind after a discussion with my boss this week around what happens during maternity leave. UK citizen spouse of US citizen, CR1 visa interview is next week. I am currently employed by the NHS but will be taking a few years out from work on an employment break. Although I will not be working, I will remain officially employed and on contract as such. Under terms of my contract, I am not entitled to the usual maternity leave provided by the NHS. I think I may however be entitled to government support, according to gov.uk sources, but because the responses to my questions when asked are purely hypothetical, I m unsure what might really apply to me. Appreciate that this might be one of those, specific to one person situations, but on the off chance it s not, I d be grateful for any advice or experience anyone has had that they d be happy to share. Apologies for the long post. Thanks in advance!

Hi :). I received my greencard back in October and originally wanted to go back to the U.K. to see my parents, but realised how bad the numbers were and put it off. It s nearly been 2 years since I ve seen them so one one hand I would really like to go back for a while and on another I m still on the fence about going because of the current covid numbers and risks. I shouldn t have any problem returning to the US if I choose to go right? Also, I took my spouses last name which appears on my greencard and have yet to change my surname on my passport, anyone know if this will be an issue? thanks :)!
