Hello, and hope everyone is staying safe. I tried to complete the visa waiver for my daughter today, because I intend for her to visit from the UK once they are allowed International travel beginning sometime in May per Boris' announcement to phase out of lockdown. However, as I got to the part in the application process after reviewing the information then to submit and pay there was an alert regarding Covid and travel restrictions so I take it they aren't allowing any ESTA applications at the moment? Has anyone had the same issue?

Does anybody have an up-to-date list of what immunisations are needed? I found a list of USCIS and CDC immunisation requirements but don't know which are appropriate. Has anyone been for their medical lately?

I would like to get them through my primary care before the medical so that I have more chance of my health insurance covering them. I know I need a mumps titer and the varicella vaccine. I don't think I need HiB but wanted to check and unsure about pneumococcal pneumonia... any ideas? I'm 39.

New LPR here. Ticked the box to receive a SSN on DS-260, been here a while, hasn't arrived (although my green card has), need to start setting up my life.

After reading others' experiences, I've been in touch with my local social security office to get a face-to-face appointment. Happening this week.

My question is: can they tell me my SSN at the appointment, on the spot, or do I need to wait for my card in the mail whenever it arrives?

As you can imagine, I just need the number to begin doing things. Thanks very much!

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any advice that might help us out. I'm American and my husband is British. We've been married for about 2 1/2 years living in Scotland that entire time. We submitted our I-130 petition online in August 2020 and have yet to receive our approval from the Nebraska office. My UK visa is expiring in May and I have recently got a job offer in the US starting on April 26th. Does any of that qualify for exceptional circumstances to change to DCF filing in London? The more I read, the more confusing it all seems. If anyone has some advice or personal experiences, they would be greatly appreciated!

So I have been on this forum since the day we sent our i-129F petition out all the way back in October of 2019. As we smoothly moved through the USCIS and NVC everything was shut down in mid to late March. Our petition had already made it to the UK embassy by a hair. Then the wait. The loooooonnnnggg wait. I have been in the March 2019 NVC to Embassy group and there was so much activity surrounding Covid that it was painful to be on the forum - painful for our story and so heartbreaking to read everyone's story as well. We (Liam and I) made an agreement to only check the forums once or twice a week to limit the sad reality. Thankfully we both worked through the pandemic (we are both hospital workers) and we had much to fill up our days. Through an expedite interview he got his Visa on March 16th and will be hitting the ground stateside on April 6th. Wow, we couldn't be happier or more humbled. My question now is since there are so few people being granted K1's is there no forum posting for K1 to AOS? am I looking in the right spot? Can someone direct to the correct area please? We are already starting to gather information and paperwork and since we used this site to get us through the K1 with guides here is there one for AOS as well.
