Our DQ date is Feb 17th. Spouse visa

I have recently turned down a contract ( My husband and I work for Carnival cruises) that means I have lost 8 months of US taxable income. My next offer for work is starting August 8th.

We have no idea whats going on with interviews in London at the moment. We thought we would make the June interviews that never happened

Do any of the forum experts know if with my proof of loss of income if this would qualify for expedite or is it not enough? It going to be a huge blow to loose more income

Any advice would be greatly received x

Hello! For anyone who received their green card in the last month or so, how long did it take from green card approved until you received it in the mail? The officer we had yesterday wasn't sure if there was a backlog in producing them. TIA.

Hi all, so I had my AOS interview over a week ago now and the officer told me that my medical doesn t have the varicella shot or varicella history ticked (even though I remember telling the doctor at my medical in London that I had it as a kid and she told me I m all up to date with all the requirements ) so I will most likely need to get it done for my application to get approved (the officer said everything else is good and she would ve approved us if it wasn t for this). She said that I would need to go to a civil surgeon to do it but she would send me a notice in the mail with what exactly they need. It s been more than a week now and I haven t received anything and my case still shows as Interview was scheduled 50 days ago. I was wondering if I can just go get the vaccine this week and send them that I ve done it or wait for the notice with instructions first? I could also ask my doctor back home to put in writing that I had chicken pox as a kid if I need to too.

I just received ACCEPTED on most of my NVC documents about 20 minutes ago. All of my (APPLICANT) documents such as DS-260, civil documents, passport scan etc. are accepted. My wife's (PETITIONER) documents are accepted, too. However, my father-in-law's (JOINT SPONSOR) documents say SUBMITTED. When I go to his list it says:

• FORM I-864 - SUBMITTED
• PROOF OF US CITIZENSHIP - SUBMITTED
• PROOF OF U.S DOMICILE - ACCEPTED
• FEDERAL INCOME TAX RETURN - ACCEPTED

Does this process normally take a couple of days to show it as fully-accepted? I don't have any new messages asking for me to upload additional documents, or re-upload stuff that's already there. There are no 'Response Notes' next to the documents.

If you receive a date for your Oath Ceremony, but know you'll be travelling, can this be rescheduled? Any ideas on the process?
