US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi all,

I had my Naturalization interview two days ago; it went fine and we got handed a sheet of paper saying we were recommended for approval (I'm also pending my removal of conditions).

I went back through all my applications just to check everything was looking good (I don't want anything slowing me down), and saw a stupid mistake that I'm angry i didn't catch before i submitted the application. On my I-485 application back in 2021, I put my employment history, and the start date of my last job in England was 04/02/2019. I made a mistake on my N-400 that I just caught now that the start date is listed as 04/09/2019. Silly mistake, I know.

Should I bring this to USCIS's attention? I have my original work contract I can share with them. Or should just wait to see if they send us an RFE?

Some of you may remember me(don't feel bad if not)....a quick recap & update ....

I'm originally from Scotland(I guess the name kinda gives it away lol) I came to Michigan on a K-1 visa to marry my wonderful husband....& 6 months after we married he sadly died....I wish I had a better story, really I do....however....I decided to stay & thankfully USCIS decided they would grant me a 10 year green card ......let me just state at this point that the support & assistance I received from everyone here helped me so immensely in both getting through the K-1 process & in obtaining my green card....

It's so hard to believe it's been 6 years(almost)....

Update:
I put myself through local community college to qualify as a Massage Therapist by working nights as a CNA in the dementia unit of a local care home, I've been massaging for the last 4 years & specialize in oncology based massage, post-op breast massage & have recently qualified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.,.....
I have also met someone.....someone really sweet & nice & of whom I think my husband would approve of me spending my time with.....

Anyhoos....I have decided, all things considered, to apply for citizenship....ugh.....please help guide me.....can I do this even though I no longer have my spouse?
Any help/advice is greatly & thankfully received.

Has anyone tried to expedite their K1 visa ?

Hi everyone,

I had my interview for N-400 and I-751 today. My wife joined me, and we were both called in together. Our officer was not that friendly but was was not unfriendly either. He asked about my marriage, details on my employment, our daughter's birth, then the US Knowledge and English Proficiency test.

One thing that was weird was he was saying the questions in section 9 were not coming up for him, and he'd asked why they hadn't been completed, but I had a copy of my original submission and showed that I have; he wasn't sure why that occurred. As such, we went through all the questions again, and the only change I provided was over the question "Have you EVER been arrested, cited, detained or confined by any law enforcement officer, military official (in the U.S. or elsewhere), or immigration official for any reason, or been charged with a crime or offense?", where I notified him of a traffic ticket I received last year for not fully stopping at a stop sign. I couldn't remember all the exact details, but I provided the information I remembered and he took note.

I then signed the documents and he handed me a note where it said I had passed my English test and US history and government test, and "Congratulations! Your application has been recommended for approval."

I'm guessing next I hear final approval and oath ceremony date? Should I be pleased with the interview result, and not disappointed I didn't get an Oath ceremony date on the spot (not that I was expecting this, my wife was asking).

Hi, I would appreciate some advice of my current situation. My F4 visa application final action date is now current, the NVC interview date is not given yet. I would like to delay the NVC interview by 12 months in order for my daughter to complete her GCSE exams, before moving to US. Has anyone had experience in delaying the NVC interview process, what should I do in order to request the delay?
