I believe I made a mistake when submitting documents as our CEAC portal now has my spouse (the visa beneficiary) listed in the AOS section and is asking for documents. Obviously my spouse is trying to obtain the visa and has none of the required documents (see attached). What should I do?

One of the arguments I am planning on using for my wife's 601a waiver is related to my father's health. My father is in his 80's and has Parkinson's. I/we spend a good amount of the weekend at my parent's house helping to take care of him. I would not be able to do this if I were to move to Thailand while we wait out her 10 year bar. My parents have asked his neurologist for a letter stating his diagnosis, but she says she cannot provide it due to HIPA regulations. (I don't believe this is accurate, but that's a different story...) Is it acceptable to just mention my father's condition without providing evidence to support it, or should I just leave it out of the letter entirely? Alternatively, my parents could ask for his medical records and include the entire file (though I would rather not do that route)

I have just gotten an additional 2 yr extention on the expiration my of my wifes 2 yr green Card, that makes it expire in 2025, that makes 4 years of extentions. We have now been married for over 5 years on our K-1 Adventure. Since we have been married over 3 years is there any other action we can take to speeed up this extremly Slooooooow Process. My wife is very concerned because on a Home visit 3 yrs ago we had a problem at Tokyo Airport when some idiot had a problem with her plastic valid green card. We almost missed our connections, my wife doesnt trust the process of carrying an expired card and a piece of paper as our ticket back to the ole USA. Other people been through the process , also show negativity. Thanks for your help!! Gerry and Wijit

Not as long as some have had, but Yesterday the 6th of April My wife took her Oath here in Las Vegas,NV, and marked the end of dealing with USCIS forever. Seeing the Naturalization Certificate was the most beautiful thing. Everyone here from the beginning November 2017 when I filed the K1, until now I would like to send out a thanks to those that have provided great advice, and allowed me to help others. A couple I married from VJ that also did a K1 just had their Citizenship test, and passed also. Their oath is the 11th of May. Knowing I was part of their journey from Marriage to Naturalization was rewarding also. I hope all the others I have married here from VJ also get to this point. It is so satisfying knowing you made it thru the war, won all the battles, and came out victorious. For anyone else out there, keep fighting, and don't give up. It is possible to make it out... a little rough for wear definitely, and probably with some lifelong scars and things that will haunt you forever, but knowing you came out on top is worth it.

I am a US citizen petitioning for a CR1 for my wife. My wife and I live together outside of the US. We will be moving to the US together. It's my understanding that regardless of my income, the fact that I don't have current residence in the US means I have to have a joint sponsor for the I-864. Is that right?
