Hi!

If you do not have your vaccine history documentation, can you go to a local clinic to have bloodwork done to find out ehuch vaccines you need, and receive the vaccines locally private to the k1 medical exam (i.e., instead of having the bloodwork and vaccines administered at the medical exam)?

Thank you!

I've read the instructions carefully, but sometimes you can still miss things, so I just want to post here what's in the folders to see if anything has been missed and maybe this can help someone else too...

AOS:

- Table of Contents

- Form G-1145 (e-Notification)

- Form I-485

- Check for $1,225

- Two identical passport photos with my name and A-number written on the back

- Photocopy of the Swedish equivalent of a birth certificate

- Photocopy NOA2 for the I-129F

- Photocopy of my passport biographic page

- Photocopy of the K1 visa and admission stamp

- The most recent I-94

- Photocopy of the marriage certificate

- A few wedding pictures

- Photocopy of the visa medical examination and vaccination records from Sweden

- Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support)

- Evidence for the Affidavit of Support: Proof of U.S. Citizenship, letter from employer, tax returns for the past three years, W2's for the past three years, pay stubs for the past six months and proof of savings.

I know the wedding pictures are not required, but I choose to include them anyway. I would have included other evidence, too, like joint bank account and stuff like that but we're just starting out with everything and I prefer to get the application in ASAP instead to hopefully get my NOA1 before my 90 days are up and I'm out of status which will be July 8th. I'll just make sure I have that stuff for the interview instead.

EAD:

- Table of Contents

- Form G-1145 (e-Notification)

- Form I-765 (Employment Authorization)

- Two identical passport photos with my name and A-number written on the back

- Photocopy of my passport biographic page

- Photocopy of the marriage certificate (to prove my new legal name as it's not the same as in my passport anymore)

Advanced Parole:

- Table of Contents

- Form G-1145 (e-Notification)

- Form I-131 (Advanced Parole)

- Two identical passport photos with my name and A-number written on the back

- Photocopy of my passport biographic page

- Photocopy of the marriage certificate (to prove my new legal name as it's not the same as in my passport anymore)

- I-94 - proof of present status in the U.S.

- Signed letter concerning qualification and intended trip

Does the AOS packet need to say anything specific on the envelope?

This might be a somewhat stupid question, but I have a vague memory of my then fianc writing something on the actual envelope back when we sent in the I-129F application in 2019. I think he wrote I-129F or something similar. Now we're about to send in the AOS application (hopefully tomorrow!) and I haven't read anything like that in the instructions, so does that mean that we just write the address and then when they open it they'll just see the different folders (AOS, EAD and Advanced Parole) that has the application name and what form it is on the front? Or do this has to be on the actual packet as well?

I'm probably overthinking, but I just remember that we wrote something on the packet last time...

AOS documents for a business partner

My spouse owns a restaurant with a partner. Last year, because of COVID-19 and many investments made to the business, the business did not make profit and my spouse did not want to receive any salary.

This year, my spouse is able to take distribution of profits but doesn't have any pay slips.

1) Which AOS form we should use?

2) We have a person who can be a co-sponsor. We did not figure out yet if we can add him at this stage because the online page only shows my spouse's name. Can we add him now in the ceac website?

Thank you in advance

I have my AOS interview next week. In the interview notice, it says to bring petitioners (USC) birth certificate, will his passport be fine to bring instead? I figured that it will be as it is proof of citizenship as well but I thought i'd ask.
