First of all, thank you guys for helping me because I would not have been able to do this without ya'll.
My parents just got their IR5 visa on their swedish passports and I booked us all 3 one way tickets to USA.

Question 1 - Greencard:

I'm a bit stuck on how they will get their actual greencard. Someone here told me it's sent out automatically?
Online I read I have to pay an immigration fee. Is that the DS-260? I just have no idea what to do and how to find out if I should pay in advance or not. I mean I'm sure it won't be automatic and I have to submit some type of application?
Obviously I would like to get things done sooner.

Question 2 - Address for GC

If the greencard is being shipped somewhere, does anyone have a clue on how I can update the address or find out where it's going?

They closed phone support to 603-334-0700 :(

Question 3 - Social Security card:

My goal is to establish good credit score for both my parents. Not sure which of the 2 options below are more benefical

Should I apply for a social security card for my parents before they get their greencards? Or prior?

Question 4 - Bank account:

My goal is to establish good credit score for both my parents. Not sure which of the 2 options below are more benefical

Should I open up a debit bank account for my parents as soon as we get there? Or is it better to do it after getting a social security card and/or their greencards?

Please let me know even if you don't know the answer to all 3.
Thank you so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Traveling to the US on an ESTA Visa with pending CR1 application.

Hello,

Back in March of 2022 my now wife visited me on an ESTA for 89 days and during that time we got married without any previous plans to do so. She returned to Sweden and we sent in our application for a CR1 visa, however over the last few days we have found that some are able to travel to the US again on an ESTA while the application is processing. We want to avoid doing anything that will cause issues in the future with our application process so I just had a few questions. Any answers or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Would her visiting me for a few weeks on an ESTA while our application is pending put up any red flags with immigration?

What would be a good form of proof that she does in fact intend to return to her home country again other than a return ticket?

Thanks!

i130 - Previous petition

I'm doing a petition for my sister who lives in a different country.
I'm just starting her i130 application.
It does have a question in the online form: "Have you EVER previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien?"

I started my parents immigrant visa petition 2018 and they got their interview in 10 days (without a doubt they will be approved).
I'm assuming I'm supposed to answer Yes on question above huh?

The thing is, when I press "Yes", it says: "You have selected that you have previously filed a petition for this beneficiary or any other alien. Provide information on each petition you have filed in this section."
And it only allows me to fill out 1 person first name and last name and if the status was approved, denied or withdrawn.

Do you guys think I should just ignore this part? Or put BOTH my parents name?
Should I put Pending ? Or approved?

THANK YOU!!!

Sibling, which is faster?

I'm a US citizen and my parents just got their immigrant Visa interview in 10 days.

I was thinking of doing a petition for my sibling. It says online it takes 10 years but someone told me it might be 20 years.

I honestly do not understand
My question is, will it be faster if my parents do a petition for my brother when they have their greencard VS ME doing a petition?
Also my parents have low income pension from Sweden. They do have few assets in Swe but I was thinking about putting my self down as affidavit of support in their application.
But regardless, I'm still not sure which will be faster.

I looked at timelines on this site and online and do not understand ANY of it :/

Any advice?
Thank you.

My fiancee can't remember every job she's had in the last 5 years

My fiancee (who is a US citizen) and I are filing the I-129F form but we're stuck on the part where she is supposed to fill out her employment history for the last 5 years. She has had 1 job for the past year but prior to this job, she had a bunch of short term jobs where she stayed for a few weeks-months. The problem is, she doesn t remember every place she has worked at nor does she remember the exact dates.

How important is this? Does the employment history have to be 100% correct or is it okay if she misses to list a couple of short term jobs? It was all warehouse jobs or fast food jobs btw.
