US Immigration from Russia

My wife's son has been waiting for a family based immigrant interview at the US Embassy in Moscow for some time now and along with the pandemic the political situation has brought any hopes of getting that interview to an abrupt halt. NVC has not provided any help as to when, where, or how he (along with others) might proceed to the next step. We've made several attempts to do a third party national case transfer but that didn't work out as we hoped. We've contacted our local government representatives and that also was a dead end. He has been waiting since 2013 and is documentarily qualified but at this point does not have any answers at to what he might do to move things along. Any help would be appreciated.

when the 485 and 765 were sent to the lock box we only forwarded one I-94 whuch was attached to the 485 bundle. Should we send another?

My wife is a Russian citizen who came to America on a K1 in 2011 and stayed until just before her AOS. She moved back to Russia due to family issues and did not overstay her visa. I am an American and we have two children who are dual citizens. The Russian government forced the US embassy to effectively close and they don t have any visa or US Citizen services active.

My question is this, if we file for a spousal visa is it possible to do DCF through whichever embassy is handling services for the American embassy in Russia due to the de facto closure? It is most likely the Warsaw Poland US embassy as they already handle SSA services.

I am preparing the I-751 petition for my wife and, after reading this forum, I realized that we haven't been using our joint bank account in a "fully commingled" fashion. The way we have it set up is that all her credit cards bills and occasonal debit transactions are paid from the joint account. My income goes to my individual bank account, and all the other bills are paid from that account. All her income goes to her individual account to pay off her student loans. I transfer enough funds to the joint account to cover her credit card bills.

So what should we include with the petition:

1. Include the joint account statements, highlight the transfers and include a note explaining how we use the account, or

2. Just include the statements without explanation, since the explanation is not very favorable

We do have plenty of other evidence of financial interdependence, most importantly our house is held in both our names, joint tax returns, health and auto insurance, beneficiary on retirement accounts, etc.
