Mother of recent US citizen visiting from Russia

My husband is from Russia and recently because a US citizen. We would like to have his mother visit us from Russia as they haven't seen each other for many years. We are wondering what kind of documents she would have to bring along to submit the application for a tourist visa besides the actual form. For example a letter from us inviting her. Any advice on what that letter needs to include? Also if we need proof that we can support her financially while she is here as she doesn't really have money on her own, how can we prove that? If there is anything else you can think of please let me know! Thanks!

F2A - Adjustment of Status?

Hi! Back story - my dad just got his green card and moved to the US, my mom and two brothers are in Ukraine

I talked to a lawyer and she said that my mom and two brothers can fly to the US on a tourist visa, stay here for a few months and then my dad would file I-130 + Adjustment of status for them. Since F2A visa is current, they don't have to go back to Ukraine and can settle down in the US while they are waiting or their green cards.

Does it seam accurate? Has anyone done I-485 on F2A category recently?

Interview scheduled a couple of days after moving to a different state

Hello!

I have this situation. I just moved to another state having my n400 pending for less than three months. After moving I was going to notify USCIS about my current address (still don't have permanent one though) within 10 days as law requires. On third day after I landed on the new state I got change of status online: Interview scheduled, notice sent. I was able to download the pdf version of the notice through my USCIS account and see the date. It's in one month!!

I am upset now, and just afraid of missing something in this situation. I have a question (probably stupid). I guess that notifying USCIS about change of state is the only option here.

How bad possibly it will delay the case in this time?

Is there any chance that no matter whether I send my new address (probably multiple times since I am still in search of permanent one) the interview will still remain in my old state?

Appreciate any suggestions in advance!

My wife's son has been waiting at the US Embassy in Moscow for an interview which is basically closed. She is wondering if he can apply for a student visa while waiting for the possibility of getting a family based immigrant visa.
