Hello,

I am currently filling out the online I-130 form and am stuck on the question Are you submitting separate petitions for other relatives? When prompted to provide the relationship to this relative, I am confused by the options given here due to the wording of the question. I am filing separate petitions for my wife's 2 children so my relationship to them should be as a stepfather. What should I input here? (options are Brother or Sister, Child, Parent, and Spouse).

Thank you!

I am completing i-130 form. And have confusion about part 4 question 58a.

"If the beneficiary's native written language does not use Roman letter , type or print in his or her name and foreign address in their native written language"

I am Russian and have to type address where i live in my native language. But I live with my husband in USA. Should I put our American address in Russian translated version? Just sounds weird.

I-693 exam, MMR vaccine confusion

I have a question about MMR vaccine that bothers me. And the civil surgeon on our first appointment did not give me right answer yet.
I am from Russia and got all my vaccines due to the calendar. In my shot records its mentioned that I had measles vaccine twice (03/03/1998 and 05/20/2003), mumps vaccine twice (06/09/1998 and 05/20/2003) and rubella vaccine twice (04/16/2007 and 01/15/2010). As you can see I had these vaccines all separately on different dates. In the form I-693 its mentioned that they require: MMR (measles, mumps-rubella) or if monovalent or other combination of the vaccines are given, specify vaccines.

The civil surgeon (his nurse) told me that he never met situation like that and i have to have two MMR, and it can be confusion that i have them all in different dates and separately. But i dont think that he is right, if someone ever had such situation as me? I want to know for sure, If there is any problem that I got them all separately or I have to have MMR? Does it makes any difference?

From vaccines to testing: What travelers need to know before the new US travel system launches on Nov. 8

The United States is about to make it much easier for vaccinated international travelers to visit.

The White House announced Friday that a new air travel system will take effect Nov. 8, allowing entry for fully vaccinated foreign tourists. The system is set to launch more than 20 months after the U.S. began imposing travel restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The move by the White House will essentially have the U.S. drop its travel ban on dozens of countries while also making entry more challenging for the unvaccinated. The new system will allow entry for foreign nationals only with vaccinations approved by the World Health Organization and would add testing requirements for unvaccinated Americans.

....

The FDA has authorized three COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use during the pandemic: Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer-BioNTech, the last of which has received the FDA's full stamp of approval.

Vaccines with WHO approval include:

  • Johnson & Johnson

  • Moderna

  • Pfizer-BioNTech

  • Oxford-AstraZeneca/Covishield

  • Sinopharm

  • Sinovac

The CDC confirmed Friday that it would accept a mix-and-match approach to vaccinations. Travelers who have any combination of FDA- or WHO-approved vaccines will be considered fully vaccinated.
