US Immigration from Russia

I filed I-130 applications for my Russian wife and stepdaughter back in March. I hope to be cleared into the NVC stage in the next few months. I've been following all the threads discussing the final interview with great interest, as you could imagine. It seems to be getting progressively more difficult to get the interview scheduled and to travel to whatever country you've got it scheduled in. Some here went to Almaty, but they seem to be less likely to accept a transfer. Israel was an option, but with the war going on, that's not an option. I haven't heard any recent stories where someone has navigated the Schengen minefield to attend an interview in Poland. Most have made the decision to not even try to get there.

With all that as a premise, where do we go now? Any thoughts?

Hello,am wondering if anyone else is facing same problem .but recently NVC sent my Russian fianc visa case to the US embassy in Warsaw,Poland .we need to start her k1 visa application .but I heard Poland isn t letting any Russian get a Schengen visa .

I am in the middle of administrative processing and it is approaching the 2 month mark. Is there a certain time period where it is okay to contact the embassy, and what would an email like that even look like? I want to avoid aggravating the person on the receiving end, especially if nothing can be done. "Can I ask how my application is going" sounds bad too, as the CEAC website has the status.

Is it advised to just not ask, even if months in the process?

Me and my Fianc e are trying to figure out which country Is the best to apply for shengen visa? We have our k1 visa interview in Poland next year February. Anyone have any good info on countries with good acceptance rate, low time to issue visa?

Received an e-mail from NVC today telling us that Mom's IR-5 eventual interview location has been changed from Moscow to Warsaw.

I was under the impression that all Russian IR-5's were now being assigned to Almaty by default. Apparently that's not the case.

Almaty would be preferable to Warsaw for us, so I guess I'll need to work on seeing if we can get the case transferred.
