They asked for CV 6 months ago, we provided CV and college diploma 5 months ago, they emailed us today asking for a CV that includes his high school education. ??? You can't go to college in Russia without a high school degree? Normal CV's only include high school if you haven't gone to college? They didn't ask for high school education specifically in their initial request, they asked my fiance for college and work which we provided? The frustration is infinite.

Hi all, Could you please help me solve this question: In August 2023, two years have passed since the date of receipt of the conditional green card by marriage. 90 days before, we applied for a permanent green card. Instead of a permanent green card, I received a letter that my conditional card had been extended for another 48 months. The question is that if there was a permanent green card, as far as I know, then after 9 months it would be possible to apply for citizenship. Is it possible to do the same with an extended conditional green card? Thank you!

Hey everyone! I'm a bit confused about some of the wording for the police certificate requirements, particularly the residence part. My husband (Russian) and I (American) have been essentially traveling around since we got engaged and now married, while we await this immigration process. We've been in Egypt (husband worked/had residence for 5 months), Turkey (tourist visa/visa-free and overstay for 4-5 months [only overstayed because of unsuccessful residence applications]), Armenia (visa-free 6 months), and now we're going to the Philippines because of the seemingly perpetual tourist visa extensions. The only country my husband had official residence was Egypt. Will we eventually need to get police certificates for Armenia, Philippines, (maybe Turkey?)? Anyone who has had a similar experience, would love to hear what you had to do!

My fiancee has here K1 embassy interview end of April in Warsaw, then I assume they take her passport and return it with the visa sometime later (I believe 3-5 days in Warsaw, but if anyone had a different experience, please let me know). So while we are waiting on the visa processing, we can't really travel by any means that require a passport, is that correct? We thought about travelling around Europe a little bit, but are we going to be stuck in Poland while waiting? Or I can assume we can rent a car and drive around the Shenghen zone since no passport required at the borders and see it that way. Any other limitations? If anyone has experience, would love to hear it and any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
