I'd like to bring my MIL over for a visit and the correct method would be to get her a B-2 but that was already denied once and the prognosis for success on future attempts isn't great. So, I'm thinking about doing an i-130 but wondering how long that takes for a parent? Also, does that take longer depending on the country?

Hello, I got my greencard when my mom petitioned me last 2016. I m an LPR for 9 years. I turned 26 last year so I was kicked out from my mom s insurance. I applied for Medicaid and got accepted. I asked my Attorney and he clarified as long as I got my medicaid lawfully, it will not affect my citizenship application. At first I got approved and Medicaid asked for more proof, so I scanned my greencard and uploaded it in my profile on the official medicaid website. They actually sent me a letter saying they will remove my medicaid, because they claimed they did not receive the additional document they requested. So I called them and told them that I uploaded it in my profile and they saw it so I got approved again. Will I be okay?? I also applied for food stamps and most likely got denied because I wasn t able to submit documents they were asking by the time period they required me to. I was unemployed at the time.

I am about to send my k1 visa application, I am a US citizen. In the story of how we met, I included the fact that my fianc has Hepatitis B. My fianc s condition is well maintained, and I am aware that she will have to undergo a medical examination before her US embassy interview. My question is if I have to provide a medical report of my fianc s condition on the application that I am going to send to the USCIS. And if I have to, what should I label it as on the cover letter. My concern is that they will deny the application because of that detail. she's going to get her medical records and a letter from a doctor just in case we do have to add it to the application and I'm also going to get my Hep B vaccination records as well.
