Please help with what to do when the medical expires because the visa is still processing to be delivered. The interview was approved on 7/1/25. No visa yet 14 days later. Medical expires 7/22. What do we do after the medical expires. Are there visa application expenses along with updating medical. What do we need and steps to follow. Your information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! If my "Current Annual Household Income" is above HHS Poverty Guidelines ($40000) but my total income is less than half the HHS Poverty Guideline for all three recent years, should I be concerned?

Or should I find a joint sponsor?

(Sorry if this isn't the right forum)

My wife entered the US on her IR-1 visa on June 15 from the Philippines, but as of yet I didn't pay the fee for her permanent resident card to be mailed to her due to financial reasons. This coming week I will pay, but I'm just wondering if there will be any issues due to the delay?

She has her social security card/number already. I pay on the USCIS website correct? Thanks!

My fianc e raised this question after I already sent her the paperwork, I had not thought of it.

"US Citizen" is the first box and obviously makes sense because I am a US Citizen. However, "US National" is maybe more applicable, as I never applied and received my citizenship, but was born in the US. Kind of a confusing question. Technically I am both, maybe it doesn't matter one way or the other.

Any thoughts?

Can any one explain to me if I an American can move to Canada and work there. What is the process for me to do that.
