US Immigration from Philippines

I m here seeking for advice. I can t complete my I-864 as I am still searching for answers and hoping that others have the same experience and wanting to know what has been the result.

Anyway, our household income is insufficient to cover the poverty guideline. We have a savings account that could cover the difference (x5). I wanted to know if anyone else used their savings for the I-864 and what were your experiences. Did it caused RFEs, delays? Anything else?

I m just worried that assets may not have enough bearing compared to income. But wanted to use it anyway before using another sponsor.

Please throw any advise.

Beneficiary is in the Philippines (if that helps).

Hello, im having an issue with filing my mom s petition. My birth certificate still had her maiden name so im going to submit her marriage certificate however, her middle initial in the marriage certificate is incorrect. Will i have issues when submitting that?

Just wanna update you all that the Beneficiary has passed her interview F2A at manila embassy.

We were emailed that my moms case was expedited and NVC sent our application to the US Embassy and they will contact us to schedule an interview.

Im quite confused as I know we still need to do some medical.

Hope you can help us out for the next steps.

Here are my questions for clarifications.

Our CEAC Status is : READY

A. Do we need to wait for an email/letter for the schedule?

B. When do we schedule for the medical?

C. How do we schedule for the medical?

D. If we are to schedule for the interview how and what site?

E. We have our MNL Case ID and Invoice No. Is there anything else we need to know?

Mom (in Cebu) needs a new passport. The old one is lost but long expired. Anyone know any tricks to get an appointment with DFA? It seemed ok for a while when the appointment system required identification and that wasn't transferable. But now it seems like the travel agencies have gotten around that and there are never available appointments.

I was thinking if mom took one of the younger grand kids and got them a passport too, there is some kind of priority or something?

Any other ideas?
