Hi Everyone,

Been here awhile but just stumbled upon this forum. My fianc & I been together since June of 2020 and are now a few weeks away from her K1 Fiance VISA interview at the Manila embassy (May 4^th). If everything falls into place, we hope to have her travel to the US (Texas) the following Friday (May 12^th) if not shortly thereafter. We are making plans for our wedding in Hawai i so that my parents & the rest of my family can take part in it

If there are any other Filipinas who are in Texas or plan to move there in the future, please reach out to me as we are trying to create a network of Filipinas for support & potential get togethers.

In June 2022, my fiance lost his USA-issued passport upon visiting me here in the Philippines. He filed for an affidavit of loss, and he received an emergency passport (to be used for him return to the States after his visit).

Now, we are using the affidavit of loss to explain the loss of earlier passport stamps on his visit in June 2022. My fiance is filing his I-129F petition.

However, this 2023, it is only coming to me that there is a clerical error on the affidavit: it mentions there that my fiance is "a holder of a USA passport, issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs (PH)" instead of the Department of State (US).

Should I file for an affidavit of correction now, or will this error be excused by the USCIS officer?

Will this be grounds for an RFE, or am I being delusional?

Helping my sister-in-law with her AoS and it got rejected. It appears they want a fee for the employment authorization. In checking my own application 10 years ago we didn't pay an extra fee for employment authorization.

Completing 5yrs as permanent resident on 30June23 and 90 days early filing is 04/01/2023. We travelled outside U.S. for 27days last 2019 before pandemic.

Does 90days early filing date affects since we were out of the U.S. for 27days? or can we still file 90 days early filing by 04/01/2023?
