After NOA2: Signature Changes on NBI Clearance Renewal

(Sorry if content is in wrong category.)

I (the beneficiary) already submitted my intent to marry letter on the I-129F petition, and my new signature there contains my first names, last names, and middle initial. It s a new signature I recently took to using.

At the same time, I got my first NBI clearance outside of K1 purposes. It had my old signature, only having my first name and last name. I will have to renew that NBI clearance soon

Fast forward to now, the petition has been approved (yay), and now I will actually need to submit a NBI clearance, a renewed more recent one at that, for the K1 process.

I m committing to using my new signature as much as possible. But my scenario might be this: the NBI forces me to use my old signature for my renewed clearance for the K1.

If that happens, won t I be in trouble since my NBI clearance has a different signature from my intent to marry letter along with the rest of my documents moving forward?

Thanks :).

Hi all!

Hope everyone is doing okay.

So, on the application we have submitted, we mentioned that I (alien fianc ) will be doing my interview here in Bahrain.

Now I will be moving apartment, still in Bahrain. I have a couple of questions regarding that.

1. Is there any kind of forms we should submit for changing my address?

2. Will this affect our waiting times? If we have to resubmit some forms.

3. Am I ever receiving anything from the mail, or everything will be through my fianc and he is just the one who will be updating me.

Thank you in advance for anyone who could help. I have called US embassy here in Bahrain, but unfortunately they dont have the answers.

Hello, can you help me please we got an issue when we went to social security center because my wife got her ssn before our marriage and after that we went back to change her last name on her social security on 01/02/2024 for her social security card but we didnt receive the card. Ive called the social security and they said that to wait 14 business days, we waited but nothing on our mail so we decided to go back to the facility but they said you cannot get another card anymore because my wife i94 and passport is expired, should we wait until she gets her greencard and then apply again to change her last name to mine and get her social security card? (Btw ive already submitted my aos weeks before her 90 day expired)

Proof of spouse's US citizenship at interview

Did some searching on the forum but was unable to find a clear answer. I was scheduled for the interview and the notice mentioned, as an applicant applying on the basis of my marriage to a U.S. citizen, that I needed to bring "your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship":

image.thumb.png.b184fef48b878271e2ce39a579da994a.png

My spouse naturalized as minor, through his mother's naturalization. He has never obtained a certificate of citizenship, though his mother has one. He does have a valid U.S. passport, and has had one since he became a citizen. My question is: is that passport sufficient enough to fulfill their requirements, or do we really have to obtain a naturalization certificate for him? Obtaining the certificate could take up to a year, and my interview is next month.

Thanks all. Appreciate all and any responses.
