Just wondering how long does NVC take 'currently' to send a welcome letter once the petition is approved?

Our F3 case is on AP for around 3 months. Last updated date of our case is updating every Saturday around the same time. We read in some posts that date getting updated is a good sign. Can you please advise what is the significance of weekly updating of the date and whether it is good or not.

Asking for a relative...since they don't know how to post here.

Mom is a US Citizen, filed a petition I-130 (IR2 I assume) for her unmarried daughter in January of 2017. The daughter is in Pakistan.

In June of 2021, the daughter received an email indicating that her interview will be scheduled within a couple of months in the Islamabad embassy.

She has the NVC# and I assume the case was forwarded to the embassy, but there hasn't been any movement since.

This seems like an unusually long waiting time, so wanted to see if this is normal, or what actions could be taken to find out the status/progress of the case.

My interview on 25th January. I got 221g(reason submit death certificate of previous spouse). I submitted immediately on the day of interview at the facilitation center. The consulate received on 26th Jan.

I've been trying to track my passport and Visa status. Visa status shows refuse (AP) even they have last updated it on 4th February.

Passport status has also changed to "Document Delivery Information blank" instead of "Your passport is still with the US consulate/embassy"o While on email it replies "There's no status update available for the passport number submitted.

I don't know what's going on to my case, please share your knowledge. TIA.
