Hi! I had my interview in October 2021. I was given a 221g and my status was “Refused” for a few months. Today, it changed to “Administrative Processing”. What does this mean? Is it a negative or positive thing?

what was the reason for the refusal? what did they ask for?

If they asked for a document and it was provided to them, then it makes sense

11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

They wanted the IRS tax transcript. We submitted it in October of 2021 too.

Ok. This is a good sign then.

Now the case moved to AP. I know AP in Pakistan can take a long time and no one can predict how long will AP take (AP stands for Administrative Processing).

Good luck
