US Immigration from Pakistan

I had my my interview for IR/1 on 1st April 2022, US Embassy Islamabad. Interviewer seemed like a casual guy just woke up. I asked for interpreter, he said you just go on in English and speak as much as you can I will figure it out. Interview was going well until end he gave me a white 221g.

He said we have pretty much everything that we need, you will receive an email shortly if anything else is required. We are holding your passport. On asking how much time will it take, CO, shook his shoulders as if saying "I can't say". He said you case is in AP. I left the Embassy went to parking checked from my phone my case status at ceac showed "Refused".

After one week I received an email, in which I was told to reply to that email. in editable text format, In email questions asked were same as of DS 5535. I replied to that email in 2 hours, because I do not have a long travel history or anything else. Upon replying to that email, I did not receive any confirmation.

After two day on 11th, I again received same email, asking me same questions and telling me to reply in same. manner. I again replied to that email, this time I replied within ten minutes.

My case got updated after that on daily basis till 14th and stopped updating since then,

I haven't received any confirmation of replies I sent them. Has anybody else in same category endured this. Kindly advise me VJ members.

My mother is already in USA and received i-551 for one year. She has already processed for the Green card and 90 days already passed. She hasnt received her green card. When i check her status, the following message appear. I wonder how to get know about her Green Card? Her visa is already expired and She want to travel back to Pakistan. I wonder, is it safe to travel back on i-551? Will she required to obtain new visa?

Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received

On January 7, 2022, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 90 days of your entry into the United States or within 90 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received.

While my spouse's AoS process and interview was pending, she called and got an appointment at the SSA in late November/early December. The rep told her that her SS card was mailed out in October. Address was verified and it was correct. The rep said that sometimes the delivery folks don't look at apartment numbers and misplace them, so she personally wrote our apartment number in huge bold font and said it will be expedited and delivered within 10 business days. She also printed out a paper that had my spouse's info and SSN on it.

Nothing arrives in two weeks and we think it'll come eventually and we fly abroad. We come back and it's still not delivered. Tried calling at different times, different days, on hold for hours, nothing. I emailed SSA and they responded back that these matters could not be discussed via email, and to call them.

My spouse now has a green card but she can't get a state ID or driver's permit because it's impossible to reach SSA. Her two credit card applications got denied too for whatever reason, and I think it has something to do with this?

They've opened up a few offices for walk-in recently but there have been 3-7 hour lines outside!

We wrote to our US rep (Lizzie Fletcher) but it's been a week and no response on their end.

What do we do????

Thanks for making this forum and helping peoples across the globe,

I applied for renewal of B1/B2 Visa as a new application, got the appointment after a year long wait,

Appeared in the interview and was very smooth, only few questions asked nothing much, general questions like

Year of last visit - places visited , overall that went very well,

At the end VO said to my Wife congratulations while smiling your visa is approved and handed over the Blue slip of Approval, and said for all four of you, Myself - 3 Kids we need some additional information and we will contact you over email,

and handed over White Slip 221(g) & Passports Returned

After 2 hour received the email to submit additional information of DS-5535 over email in editable word text only,

Responded to them in next day within email as they said to reply to this email,

However its been almost 58 days and there is no update or response

Wife passport received after 4 days with 5 Year / M Visa

in the meanwhile I was not aware that Kids under the age of 14 may get the visa via drop box, and I took them to physical interview

Already had B1/B2 Visa -2013-2018 Visited 3 Times and came back within allowed timeframe

Last visited in 2017

My husband had his interview yesterday, a combined one - i751 and n400. After some questions being asked to both of us about i751 he was then asked to take the naturalization test. He passed.

I know it says approved on the paper they handed us yesterday but online it says it takes a a bit longer because they do background checks. Right now his status says interview was scheduled . Will the status change soon? How long would it take?
