US Immigration from Norway

I feel like I have asked this before, but probably a year ago and I just want to make sure I do what I need to here.

I am currently doing a K1 with my fiance. I have two kids from a former marriage, who have an american dad. Their american passports and snn are on the way in the mail after an appointment a few weeks ago.

When I finish all the visa stuff and I am ready to move, what do I need to do for them? I mean they are kids, and I have a custody agreement from their dad stating I can move with them. But once we get to the US (or at the POE idk) I assume I have to notify someone? Is it as simple as just a change of address for them?

For those of you who came to the country on a K1 visa, how did you get a wedding together in less than 3 months? We are considering doing a quick and easy one without guests and do a bigger celebration later on, maybe in a country where our friends and family can meet in the "middle", but I would still like to do /something/ once I move over there. From what I have seen, most people plan their wedding for months and months or even years, and while you can think about attire and plan some of the things, anything that involves booking something is out of the question until you have that visa in hand. And by then you dont have that much time anymore.

Any experiences are welcomed.

So while wating for NVC to work on our case I am getting my ducks in a row! Yesterday I reached out to the police to ask how to attain a certificate. Luckily they offer one to use abroad in English, so that is pretty straightforward. What they could not answer me was how long it is valid, they just told me that is probably up to the US embassy. The process only takes a couple of weeks, but I am trying to prepare as much as possible, so I was wondering how long I should wait to order it? What is the expectation from the embassy? Unless you get the certificate the day you have your interview it will never be truly up to date, but still, what should I plan for here?

We have gotten an NOA1 and NOA2, plus a letter stating our case has been sent to NVC. But when we filed the i129 petition, we also added the one that would allow for email updates, since mail can obviously get delayed. Does this not work a lot of the time?

I did not know where to put this, so please move if needed but I need help, and I need it quite quickly.

I am sending my kids to Oslo in two days to get their CRBAs and American passports. For this I need to fill out a ds3053 since I cannot go with them. This needs to be notraized. I am running out of time because I asked their dad what he needed from me and he just said to send my physical (norwegian) passport to prove I am a citizen. I took his word for that, but remembered a discussion here in the forum last year so I looked it up and found out about the form I needed. On that post someone also linked notarize.com which says.

Super! I was filling out all the information but then i got to the point of putting in my address and then a US address is required. I asked customer support and you need to be tied to a US address. So that just does not work.

Does anyone know any online notary services that would be valid at a US embassy without having a US address?
