US Immigration from Norway

So, our case is currently ''in transit''... we had our NOA2 in July. I'm currently almost done selling a home with my ex, for which I had a ''mortgage'' bill paying account (that my ex sends money to for his share of the mortgage per divorce decree) that I plan on closing once I sell the home (we should be closing the first week of October).

I was wondering, is it going to be okay if I close this secondary account? only because I have it on my bank account from last month a history of transferring my share of the mortgage money to the before mentioned account for my share of the mortgage bi-weekly. Will it be safe for me to close the account? or will I need it for the interview? I'm obviously not going to be transferring any more money into it because the house is getting sold.

I highly doubt that they will be calling us for an interview soon because the people that have been delayed since March are likely to be called in first
