Am filling The ds-160 which I came across this am still in service So the question here Have you ever served in the military? yes or No should I click NO base on am still serving.thanks

Hello VJ ers . Please my case just got shipped and in transit. At what point can i fill the DS160 form? Can i fill it now or i m gonna have to wait for another notice

Good day everyone please I am worried and I need your help by sharing your experience I filed my vawa in August 2018 and I got an rfe in March 2021 concerning my divorce from my ex wife which I sent all I have but I was denied in Oct 2021 filed 290b in November 2021 and on February 4 got a letter in mail that my case was reopened and on the app its shows 360 vawa was reopened for a reconsideration and since then I never got any update please how long will it take to get a new decision please need your attention thanks

I just need advice. We filed for the K-1 visa in May 2020 - it was approved in February 2021 and was at the NVC stage for months. We decided to forget that route and get married and I filed for the spousal visa in July 2021 (still in review by USCIS).

There was a mixed commentary on whether I should formally withdraw the K-1 or just abandon it because it's void anyway once you get married. But now that my husband is trying to renew his B-1/B-2 visa we are worried that they'll see the K-1and it will be denied. He was denied renewal already in Nigeria because the K1 was still on record - even though I had sent an email to an NVC to withdraw it! He has since moved to Canada and is a permanent resident of Canada. He is now in Canada trying to renew his B-1/B-2 visa and I'm worried this will happen again because the K1 that I tried to withdrawal is now at the consulate in Lagos! My plan is to get a notarized letter and fax it to the consulate in Nigeria today, but is this gonna be another red flag? We've done everything by the books and I'm having trouble navigating the system because I don't know how to explain that he is not going to come here and adjust status. He is employed and will return to work and we will continue to wait for things to be processed on their time I just really need him here in April.

I just don't know what to do now. If I send the letter to cancel the K-1 in hopes that that will clear up any red flags on his renewal is this something that will be another red flag? Any advice is helpful.

What does it mean that your case is actively being reviewed??

Our case was received by the USCIS on the 7th of December ,we got a notification that same month ,but now it states our case is being reviewed and there's no outstanding at the moment
