I know of a couple specifically where the NVC documentarily qualified them in April 2022. They have been contacted by email & have their embassey/consultant appointment in July 2023. The Embassy/Consulate is Lagos Nigeria.

I filed N-400 under 3 years rule in Potomac. How long is the processing time for N-400 under the 3 years rule in Potomac service center field office Baltimore

I went on USCIS to check the status of my case today. When I look at the processing time, it now says, " Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You do not need to take any action at this time". Last month it said 7 months. My questions are, does this mean it will take longer the the 7 months? Has anyone ever experieced this , how much longer did it take?

Hello everyone. I am trying to schedule appointment at the Lagos Consulate for a family member trying to visit the US. I got an email already to schedule an appointment but each time I tried to schedule I get "There are currently no appointments available.". Does anyone know what is going in Lagos, Nigeria with B1/B2 visa appointments?

Good morning house. I was documentarily Qualified with my son and a week after, my wife got her citizenship. My two daughters are on "Follow-to-join". Do my wife at this stage need to submit documents for us to upgrade to IR-1 having been documentary qualified, and what's the implication on my daughters who are on "Follow-to-join". Will we be issued visa based on which category now?
Moreso, what if we decide to do nothing? If my wife send in her proof of citizenship, wont it delay our scheduling of interview and delay the process? Thanks.
