Consulate writing me for medical visit

Hi,

My wife(American) and I were DQd the 2nd of February 2021.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote to the Clinic in Amsterdam because (my mother) lost my vaccination record. They replied and told me what to do. They also told me when I wanted to book the visit.

I was waiting to book the visit until I know the interview date (according to the instruction on the CEAC website).

The Clinic, apparently, wrote to the Consulate and the Consulate wrote me:

The Panel Physician/Clinic in Amsterdam has contacted us since they have sent several emails to you but they are receiving no response.
Please let us know if you receive this email and if you wish to continue the processing of your immigrant visa.
If yes, please contact the clinic directly in Amsterdam as soon as possible.
I explained them the situation, but for what reason would they think that I want to renounce to the Visa?
Also, they included my wife into the email. How can they know her email address? This means they are already in contact with the NVC, aren't they?
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks

Consulate(s) closed for interviews?

Hi,

My wife and I live in Holland, she's American, I'm Italian. We applied for a CR1 visa.

The NVC has closed the case and it's ready to send it to the consulate in Amsterdam for the interview.

What is the situation of the consulates around the world?

In the US consulate of Amsterdam's website, it states:

Due to limited staffing, the U.S. Consulate in Amsterdam is only able to provide very limited emergency non-immigrant visa services until further notice. This change in services does not affect currently scheduled immigrant visa appointments.

What does it mean?

Are they providing ONLY non-immigrant visas?

Are they providing immigrant visas normally and very limited non-immigrant visa?

This is very unclear!

I saw other consulates' websites:

Germany seems to be closed, Belgium and Denmark seem to be open, UK is only slowing down.

Can you please share your info with me?

Thanks

Household size and roommates

Hi there! When I filed my I-485 package, I only included myself and my husband in my household size. Since then, 3 of our best friends have moved in with us as roommates and the rent is split between all 5 of us. This is also listed on our lease. We don't share anything with them financially speaking but since we live with them, should I update my household size by the time of my interview and could the fact that we have roommates negatively impact my immigration process? The utilities are included in the rent but my husband's name is on them (our landlord is his mother and she's very helpful when it comes to me immigrating as she's an immigrant herself) and he plans to add me as soon as I get my SSN.

Thanks!

Is NVC reviewing our case?

Hi,

We paid and uploaded all the documents to the NVC portal, the 23rd of December 2020.

We have already received three requests for providing more documents.

We have provided all the requested extra documents already.

The question is: the fact that they've asked for more, it means that our case has been / is being reviewed and we should get an appointment to the consulate soon?

On their website, it states that the 19 Jan 2021 they are reviewing cases from the 20 Oct 2020.

Thanks!

Package received but no NOA1, GC about to expire

I filed my ROC mid November. It took the mail about a month to deliver it despite the 2-day delivery I paid for. It finally got delivered on December 28.

I still haven't received my NOA1?

My greencard (and drivers license) expires on January 28.

I'm working and driving and I don't know what to do if I don't get the notification that they received and are working on my application. I will have no proof of having taken the necessary steps to be and stay legal.

Without the extension letter and proof of application I will not be able to extend my driver's license. Am I even allowed to work once it expires? Can this count against me if I continue to work?

What do I do?

I cant fo online to check status, without the NOA1 I have no application number to look for.

I will start calling the USCIS on Monday. But my past experiences are 3 hour hold times.

Any advise would be welcome.
