Hello fellow filers, This thread is started to keep track of the fellow fillers who have just submitted or will be submitting all documents (affidavit of support & civil documents) on CEAC. This will be a once place shop to inform the rest of us about the progress while waiting to get documentarily qualified (DQ) by NVC. Let s hope for a smooth journey for all of us! Paid fees 05-Nov-2021 and will be submitting as soon as available Good luck to all

Greeting All, my husband entered the states on 11/11/20 one month short from our 2 year anniversary. few months later he received a 10 year green card, we knew its wrong so we filed I90 to replace it. last august uscis called him to the local office for finger prints. up to this point everything was fine, and while we are waiting for the green card we bought a house and moved so i made sure I changed the adress on USCIS website, thats 3 months ago and he has been receiving mail all this time. today we received an email that his card was destroyed because the post office said its undeliverable! I doubled checked the adress I provided previously and its correct. I chatted with real person on ask Emma, the person did confirm that the adress is correct so he said he will put me in the scheduling to get a passport stamp and we should receive a call and he provided a number for us to keep. what else I should do? I am just afraid they will make us pay for the replacement and its not our fault. please advice. Thank you Basma

Hi everyone, We submitted our documents to NVC one month ago (on October 4, 2021) and the status is still showing "Submitted" and not "Accepted". Is this normal? I heard that documents are usually accepted within days. Should I be worried?

We applied for my then fiance-now husbands SSN three weeks ago tomorrow. I checked the SAVE system and got a message that says "Please contact Maryland - Social Security Administration, SSA (Single Signon) (WS37) to get more information about your case status." We received a letter from SSN two weeks ago saying it was processing. What does this message mean? Will it just show up or do I need to contact the local SSN office? We have his AOS packet ready to go but not sure on one question. Where it says "have you applied for a SSN" do we need to mark no since technically he hasn't gotten it yet? Or is it better to wait for the SSN to come in the mail everything for AOS? We marked "no" on wanting to have a SSN issued since we have already applied.

Hi everyone, I posted on this forum a long while ago when I was planning to submit a K-1 visa for my then fianc . Thanks to several of you that responded and gave me incredible feedback, I was recommended that I first get married and then file. I am glad to say that I am happily married now. I am currently in the process of filing the I-130 for my husband, but I'm a little confused as to what I can submit as evidence of a bonafide marriage. I have every single conversation from the beginning until now, records of video calls, screenshots of all kinds, pictures of every time I've visited, our engagement pictures, our wedding pictures, and even evidence of when I was planning a wedding here in the US for when I wanted to submit a K1 long ago. My question is, I don't have much of a few things that are listed on the USCIS website. For example, we do not have a joint bank account but my husband is an authorized user under my credit cards. Unfortunately, the banks in Morocco did not let me open a joint account with him because I was not a resident. He also asked his bank if he could add me under his account but again, I was denied because I am not a resident. We don't own any property together and the home where we stayed living together for a few months was rented and paid for in cash. There weren't any official documents signed for renting. I have copies of money transfers between the two of us as well. Due to the pandemic and my job, I wasn't able to visit my then fianc as much and for as long as I'd wanted. I don't have as many visits as I'd like under my belt but my job in healthcare doesn't allow for extensive or frequent stays abroad. My husband's job in his country's military also didn't allow for much visits either. I would appreciate any guidance and advice regarding this. Thank you in advance!
