I don't see much about the beneficiary's criminal history being subject to review ... but here's my question : 11 years ago my beneficiary (Mexico city) was found guilty of simple possession of marijuana (27 grams). He did no jail time and had probation for 2 years thereafter and attended classes for drug use as part of his sentence. 1. Will this be an issue for him at any stage of this process? 2. Does he need to obtain documentation regarding his criminal history? 3. Is the beneficiary's criminal history a concern? 4. Will he be asked if he has a criminal history at the interview? Thanks

Hi VJfamily. So I m wondering if I need a new AOS if I m no longer employed at the place I had originally filed. We finally received notice my husbands case has been expedited and I want to make sure I have all documents when it s time for his interview in Ciudad Juarez. ive been unemployed due to the pandemic, my husband continued to work. He makes good money on his own. Is there something I should do as in updating AOS??

Hello VJ family. After 2 years of waiting for an interview- and 5 months waiting on an approval or denial for expedite, We finally received approval for my husbands case to be expedited due to his chronic illness. we are extremely happy. We needed good news in our life s. now, we re simply waiting for an interview date. Just the fact that it s been approved fill us with so much happiness and we thank God. I know I have to get some paperwork ready for the interview, if you guys can give me some insight on what not to leave out- that will be much appreciated. Due to the pandemic I had to stop working, I am the petitioner to my husband, our 6 yr daughter finally went back to in Person learning yesterday- I m worried this will be a direct denial. My husbands earns good money on his own. We also are in process in starting our own business, just waiting on business license approval from the Secretary of State. Now, if anyone can give me some advice on my current situation I will appreciate it so much. thank you.

Hello everyone here at VJ, quick question at the NVC stage, I was requested on Aug 5th to submit a missing document which I did right away, the thing is, while the other documents are marked as Accepted, that additional document has remained as "Submitted" all this time. Is it normal? Should I contact them? Thanks in advance for any help on this. Best regards!
