US Immigration from Italy

Hi everyone!

the waiting game for the AOS+EAD+AP is killing me and I was thinking of going back into flight school to do a course and keep myself current.

Does any of you know if I can do it with my pending status? I already have the basic American flight licences so I already got the TSA clearance done, if I wanted I know I can go and rent a helicopter and go for a fun flight. Just wondering if I can enrol in a class as well..

I have a question about traveling under this lovely ban. I obtained the EAD combo card and I am waiting to be summoned for the GC interview.

My husband and I would love to have the chance to travel few days for the Christmas holidays. We have few places in mind and they are all outside the Us border. However, they're not in the ban mentioned in the CDC list, such as Caribbean Island, Mexico, Domenican Republican and Bahamas. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/from-other-countries.html

Is there any chance that I could be denied entry to US on my way back? Has anyone here travelled in one of these countries with an Advance Parole.

Finally after just 2 years of waiting, I got my AoS interview scheduled. They haven't sent me the interview's date yet (I just got an email and an updated from the USCIS app), but today I got a letter from USCIS saying that I might need to bring an updated form I-693 to my appointment. I have done my medical exam in my country for the K1 visa (this was October 2018), and once I moved to the US and married my husband I applied for the AoS and sent my I-693 with the I-485 (this was December 2018 - my NOA date is 12/10/2018). Now from the letter it seems I need to do again this medical. It says:

"If you submitted your form I-485 on or after November 1, 2018, it is valid for two years after the date of submission. If your appointment date is more than two years after the date of submission, your Form I-693 is no longer valid. Please bring an updated Form I-693 to interview appointment"

Can please someone confirm that I understand correctly and need to redo the medical? And if I do, I have to find the civil surgeon through the USCIS website and bring the I-693 to the appointment for the surgeon to fill out? Do I need a picture too?

Also, is it normal that they sent me this and not the letter with the date yet?

I was scheduled for interview the 2 Dec but i had to cancel due some covid restrictions.I see next dates available are August and officially seem consulate stopped issue visas since 9 Nov.

Anyone else is on waiting list or had chance to communicate with em?

When I submitted my I-130 my teenage son was living with me. He's since then moved. Because he's almost 18 & works full-time, I won't be including him on my 2020 taxes. When I complete the affidavit of support, do I omit my son? Or would I include him, since he's listed on the I-130?
