US Immigration from Ireland

Hi,

A couple weeks ago the NVC started reviewing our documents and approved all of my husbands documents, some of mine (sponsor) and a couple of my moms (joint sponsor). There was a couple small issues so I fixed them within the hour and uploaded new documents. The next day we got an email that there was an update so we logged on, but nothing was changed and there was no updates. It's about two weeks since that last email and we're concerned that we aren't seeing something or that they couldn't see our new documents for some reason.

I have read a lot about there being glitches with the NVC website. We've tried to call a few times but can't get through. Also we've checked the NVC timeframes posted on the website and our date has passed.

Is this normal? Just curious if anyone else has experience the same thing.

Hi all. My fianc (USC) has only worked in his current job for one year and previously was a student. He has only filled his taxes for 2021 and nothing for the 5 years previous while in med school. His salary/job is stable now but will they want a sponsor if he can not show previous years of tax returns? TIA

So I just read on the embassy website that a affidavit of support may be needed at the nvc stage. My fianc and I both live in Ireland together . He filed his American taxes for 2020 this year. My question is would we be able to use his tax return as proof of income for the affidavit of support even though it s foreign income?

We had to submit the i864a on CEAC after the interview in Dublin, but they kept my husband's passport. On May 12th, the embassy said they received the document. Our status is still showing refused. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for it to change to AP? I know every embassy is different, so Dublin specific help would be great.
