US Immigration from Indonesia

Hi,

My biological daughter was born in Indonesia while I was a green card holder then I became a U.S citizen through Naturalization. My daughter came in to the U.S using IR 2 visa when she was 9-month-old but then received a 10-year green card instead of a Certificate of Citizenship.

I heard that we can just apply for a U.S Passport as proof of Citizenship or apply for a Certificate of Citizenship. What is the best way? Please advise...

I just finished doing my medical exam today at RSPB Bintaro, and tomorrow, they asked me to come again because the doc wants to discuss about the result with me. I already schedule the interview appointment in 10 days. Should I be worry about this call back?

I almost to send our K1 Visa package, but I just realized that my parent's name isn't same with their birth certificate on my birth certificate. Is that a problem? Which name of my parent's that I should use to fill on the form, the one on my birth certificate or the one on their birth certificate?

Hey folks, I was wondering if any of you have gone to a k1 visa interview with the medical examination result still pending?

I had my medical done on the 1st of November and my interview is tomorrow morning.

I called someone on the clinic and they told me they can't guarantee it may come tomorrow morning, and she told me that it would be refused temporarily on medical result grounds but I should still go to the interview.

Anyone have any experience? Thank you

Hey everyone,

Just filed I-130 and I-130a online and we got a notification of receipt on USCIS that I believe is the NOA 1. Now starts the long wait for NOA2. I hope it's not too long but I know that realistically we're looking at a wait for about a year. Fortunately we're lucky and we've been living together (out of the US) since we've been married, so we won't have to do long distance anymore.

It looks like our case was sent to Nebraska which I hear is a fast one?

I noticed that there isn't a thread for Nov 2022 filers yet so I figured this one could be it. Stressing out Waiting is more fun when it's done with others who are in the same boat
