US Immigration from Hong Kong

Sorry to ask this, but I've searched the forum and haven't found an answer to my specific situation.

My now-husband and I were living overseas for several years and moved back to the U.S. in July 2021. I am a USC and he entered on a K1 visa. We were married in August and he applied for AOS, EAD, etc. but has not received any of those or a Social Security number. Given his immigration status, he obviously did not work at all in 2021, but he does have overseas investments.

Is he required to file a tax return? If so, we will file jointly, but is it best to file for an extension when he has an SSN or better to submit sooner without and leave that field blank?

Ive been married to my USC spouse since April,2019. I got my conditional GC on February,2020. living here since March, 2019.
Can I apply N400 now or I have to wait till February,2022?

So my documents were reviewed by NVC today, and all were accepted. Our case is a bit unique, as we are using the income of the intending immigrant who is the spouse. The income will continue from the same source of employment once the immigrant moves to the US. However the reviewer left a case FE note requesting a Form I-864A. But when I completed the I864 form, in part 6 box 22, it states that the intending immigrant doesn't need to complete I-864A because he or she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I'm wondering if I should call NVC to explain to them that the I-864A is not needed as per their I864 form instructions. The intending immigrants also has no dependents.

What's the current wait time for CR1/IR1/F2A candidates to schedule interviews at the US Embassy in Manila? I know there's still a backlog from the COVID delays. I see conflicting reports - sometimes I see people booking 5-6 months, sometimes less than 3 months. Any recent experiences?

Hi guys, would really appreciate your help on these two questions:

1) For those who have recently been DQ, how long is it currently taking for the US Embassy in Hong Kong to schedule interviews? (If I check the timelines and forums back in 2021, it feels like a 2-3 month timeline is safe to assume)

2) And what is the usual interval between the appointment letter and the actual interview? (3-4 weeks from what I see)

I'm leaving Hong Kong for a few months and since flying back to Hong Kong has become complicated because of the changing quarantine measures, I'd want to time it as precise as I can right after I get DQ.
