US Immigration from Hong Kong

My green card was approved on June 24 and my SSN was created the same day. However, I still have not received the SS card in the mail and I urgently need it. I called SS and they said they cannot share the number over the phone. Any other suggestions from the group or do I just have to wait for it to come in the mail (hopefully this week but who knows)?

Hi, I'm currently going through the CR1 visa process and my husband is based in the US- he is currently living at home but we intend to get our own apartment once the CR1 visa is finalised and before I officially move to the US. Does anyone have any experience in terms of renting an apartment after the CR1 visa has been approved? My husband has a steady income and we are financially stable and have savings, but I'm a bit worried about having to provide proof/background checks/credit score etc- or would my husband's creditworthiness be enough?

I submitted my completed I-693 together with my AOS package in May 2021, and I am having the green card interview in the coming month in San Francisco.

I have taken the first two Pfizer shot, and was wondering if the booster is required for the interview / for green card approval? Thank you!

We are having a difficult time finding a home to rent in the Bay area as a family of new immigrants. Only one of us have a green card (2 with immigrant visa) with decent credit score, but no proof of employment/pay stubs in the U.S. Can anyone share their tips and tricks of renting a home in the U.S. without any employment history?

Our interview has been scheduled for May 24 but we have not received the letter yet, so I just want to know who is supposed to attend the interview so that we can plan accordingly. The applicant only or both spouses?
