US Immigration from Haiti

Hi everyone!!! I have questions in regards to transferring my Fianc 's k1 visa case from one country to another. The original country is Haiti and we were thinking about getting his case transferred from Haiti to the Dominican Republic. He currently has a visa for the Dominican Republic and has spent over 90% of this year there, and is renting an apartment there at the moment. He does not have permanent residency though but can obtain it. We are due for or NOA 2 by November 2nd. We wanted to know if it is at all possible to request a transfer and if it is how we would go about doing it.

has an DQ Ed in the month of October or November had an interview scheduled?

Hello everyone,

My question is this my uncle applied for his daughter and grandchildren to come from Haiti in 2012. They were approved in 2013. This past May he sent the DS-260 and paid all the fees. They are waiting for an interview. Unfortunately, August of this year my uncle passed away and what my family wants to know is the process going to continue or is it over??? All they were waiting for was an interview. Would their need to be a new sponsor or what can we do?? My cousin and her children are the only ones left in Haiti and would more beneficial for her to come her and work ..We are still waiting on the death certificate from the state of Florida. It takes awhile due to him passing away at home. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I requested an expedite at USCIS stage for an I-130 petition for a family member.

I filed the I-130 on 8/26, and our case was set on Case was Received and receipt notice was sent . I put in the expedite request on 9/15 and on 9/24 I saw that the status of our case changed to Case is being actively reviewed by USCIS , I m guessing they approved it? I ve filed other petitions & the Status never changes that fast. I didn t get any email physically saying we were approved so I was wondering what other people s experiences were with those requests.

My next question is, if it was really approved and they adjudicate it quicker than expected, would I need to request an expedite at NVC stage as well to get an interview sooner or does this 1 request work all the way through?
