US Immigration from Ghana

My husband submitted all my documents to NVC in the U S and it was approved, I am in Ghana waiting for my interview date but I realized the name on my birth certificate and passport has a slight mistake.. I didn t add the last alphabet to my first name on the passport.. what should we do?

Won the 2023 Dv-lotery visa,tryint to start the process but the site keep saying "Your request cannot be processed at this time."

Any idea what happening?

Is there a specific time it is open?

So I m having a little difficulty in knowing what steps are the proper steps to take in filing for my Husband. I m a US Citizen and I married a Ghanian in Ghana. He s currently in Ghana while I m back home in the states. I haven t started any filing process because I ve been given all sorts of answers and I m at a lost. I was told by a lawyer here in the states to have my husband come here on a tourist visa and just make him stay and start his filing. I know that isn't the correct way but I felt that if I was going to pay for a lawyer might as well get to see my husband sooner. With that being said I was also told that because we married already that he wouldn t be able to come to the states on a tourist visa. Can he come to the states on a tourist visa? Why would he be denied to travel to see his family while still going back to his home and work place?

If he doesn t come on a tourist visa, what is the best and fastest visa I should apply for? Once he obtains his green card he will be joining the national guard. Is there any benefit to the fact that we are already married? Most of the forums are for Fianc s not already married ..

Hello everyone, I attended my interview on 13-04-2022 with two other friend and we were all approved and visa issued next day. We all filled the usdoc delivery forms the same day. My friends had their visas in just 5 days but I didn t receive mine. Is everything alright?

Can a friend who make $50,000 and above annually on his federal income taxe return with two dependants i.e his wife and step daughter stand a chance to sponsor an immigrant visa applicant? He want to stand as a joint sponsor to an immigrant visa applicant because the principal immigrant visa applicant wife didn't make enough to sponsor her husband..
