Interview went smoothly. The US citizen was not allowed inside the embassy. The visa applicants waited outside until all the immigrant visa applicants for that time slot were called to the door. They did an initial prescreening to make sure all the documents were in place. The applicant's interview took around 5 minutes and was out within an hour or so of entering. Two days later, we received an email stating to make an appointment to pick up the passport with the visa. We picked it up one week after the interview. |

Timeline Comments: 7Hello
We share the same timelines as you guys but I have a problem and I hope you or anyone else can assist me. On 15/07/2025 we received an email instructing us to set up USVISAAPPT account and confirm interview appointment which we did, moments later I switched tabs and when I came back to continue my account is either frozen, blank or blocked and I haven’t been able to schedule the interview till date. Cann tell how you went about yours. I have dm you my number
Alright. I did not see this post until I responded to you individually. How far did you get in the process before that happened? Were you able to make an account already? Did you try another browser? If you have an account set up, you should be able to log in anytime. After you have made an account, it will send you a link to verify your email. You must do this within 72 hours. After you verify your email, then log in and proceed.
how long did it take for them to reach out to you with pre screen and interview date after case was said ready on ceac?
8 days. It showed ready on the 7th, and we received an email on the 15th to make an interview date for which we did the earliest date available which was 3 weeks later.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
