US Immigration from Germany

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has recently apply or is currently waiting for N400 at the San Diego office?

This might help us see the estimated wait time for SD office.

My timeline for N-400 under the 3 year rule:

May 7, 2021 - submitted the application online

May 14, 2021 - received receipt notice & biometrics reuse letter

We are stationed overseas in Germany. My wife has to renew her Green card after the initial 10 year period. We started the renewal process, gathered all the correct documents and mailed the package directly the Potomac Service Center in Arlington, VA. We used the provided address from the letter that was sent to us. After shipping it on 14 June, it was just returned back to us. Apparently they moved from the location or the address is no longer valid. A quick Google search on this turned up others experiencing similar problems. Despite the wrong address given, some got through, others didn't. Apparently they said it goes through another facility to check for suspicious packages. Ours didn't get through and now its returned to us on 13 July. It is due on 2 Aug, but we're not sure we can get it shipped back there in time. More importantly, we don't know what the real address is. Its insane that they sent us the wrong address and I feel we're still going to responsible for their mistake. Has anyone experienced this? We really don't want to have pay another $500 or so for an error on USCIS's part. We have tried calling, but its tough from Overseas, its hard to reach a human and wait times are over an hour!

Looking for any tips or suggestions to resolve this issue.

I am a Filipina and my husband is a dual citizen (American and German). However, all of his life he only lived in Germany.

We are planning to proceed and file our I-130 via direct consular filing as he had a job offer with short time relocation notice.

My question is, what do we put in the mailing address portion considering that we don't have a place in the US yet? We are also not planning to get any lawyer and will just do it on our own. Can I put there, instead, the address of any relative that we have in the US?

Dear all,

the I.130 for my children via DCF was approved in Frankfurt. My husband is the petitioner. I am unclear about the next steps and had assumed we would receive another email clarifying the information.

Am I right thinking we need to fill out the DS-260 AND mail the original documents to Frankfurt prior to making an appointment as well as upload them on CEAC? We have two kids and would we need every document (such as marriage certificate and divorce decree) as an original twice?

I can't find a good list of what we need but I am assuming the following:

1. Divorce decree previous marriage - husband and ex-wife as well as mine and my ex-husband

2. Marriage certificate previous marriage husband and his ex-wife

3. Marriage certificate my husband and I

4. Birth certificates husband and stepchildren.

5. His orders?

6. Biographic page of passports - all three.

Am I missing anything?

I would really appreciate if someone could shed some light into this.
