Dear all, we had our interview for my children in Frankfurt. Unfortunately, their biological Dad has moved from "yes, I support the Immigration process" to "No" and back to "Yes" and then "No". We ended up asking the court to make a decision. The court's decision came back on Monday and allows us to continue with the Immigration. I immediately forwarded the decision to the US Consulate in Frankfurt and the translation by a court accredited translator the day after. I saw the cases received an update on the time but it is still on "Ready" and not "Issued", As the interview was end of October and we needed until Monday to turn in the requested document, I am aware that this may sound I am pushing too much. My husband retires and we planned to travel next week. Is there any chance, that the Consulate will soon work on the cases? I guess I am also wondering how long does the consulate need in general when working on requested documents after an interview? Anxious is an understatement.

Okay so this might be weird. I am working on my AOS and they need my DS-3025. Somehow I didnt realize earlier but my expiration date says October 31st 2020 but my medical exam date was on October 6th 2021. I am a bit scared that this typo from my panel physician will make things complicated.. or is this normal? Thank you in advance.

I am a US citizen petitioning for my husband (I-130 submitted 09/21). We have both been living abroad for many years, thus I do not have a US-based tax history to meet income requirements for his application. We do, however, have savings that will cover the income requirements specified. As I understood the documentation, this should be enough and there is no expectation that I move back to the US while the application process is under review. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone I am a bit confused regarding the interview process. we got an email last week from NVC telling us that Our case has been completed by NVC and it is moving to the consulate in Frankfurt. from that email and reading other's posts on VJ I understand that we don't need to do anything for now (other than gathering documents to present during the interview itself) and that the consulate is going to contact us regarding an interview appointment. Is that correct? I am unsure because the information on the VJ page for Frankfurt consulate talks about sending out a packet 3 to the consulate (which, basically contains all the documents already sent to NVC ). Is this information outdated? Non of the links in the description work. I also have a second question regarding police certificates. I was living in France for a few years and therefore attached a PC with our NVC documents. So I do have a clear PC and a translation. My problem is that both the PC as the translation are just digital. I never received a physical copy of both as you can choose with French PC if you want to receive a copy by mail or e-mail only. I could ask for a new physical copy of the PC, but then would need a new translation. It is mostly a timing question. Is there anything I should/ could do during the waiting process of getting an interview scheduled? NVC process took forever for us, so I really want to make this last stage as smooth as possible. I am also concerend about the current Covid situation in germany and the possibility of the consulate closing again. Thanks everyone for your help, can't tell you how appreciative I am of this community

Good afternoon, I am trying to apply for community college, but am confused as far as documents needed from Germany. Before moving here, I got my Mittlere Reife (High School Diploma I believe) in Germany. Then went to Fachhochschule, which did not work out, so I did an Ausbildung (3 years apprenticeship). Is that apprenticeship considered an Associate Degree? I was told I will need official transcripts from Germany, are those Abschlusszeugnisse, and if so, will I need both from my Mittlere Reife and Ausbildung?
