Quote Hi guys, I posted before about my case. US Citizen who sponsored now ex-husband as of today. We are in the State of Maryland. The Judge ruled that it was indeed based on Cruelty that the immigrant husband subjected me to. However, the Judge said that the ground of divorce are not mentioned on the divorce document. I thought the Divorce creed mentions that because immigration officers would want to know the real reason for the divorce. The ex-husband filed for divorce to remove conditions and has a pending criminal case of domestic abuse. I counter-filed his divorce saying it was not based on mutual agreement but cruelty which I was able to prove in divorce trial today. So if cruelty grounds of divorce won't be mentioned on the divorce document, how would immigration know? I'm going to send immigration the divorce hearing/trial transcript where the judge ruled Cruelty as the grounds of divorce. But it sucks that the divorce document won't have that. I live in Montgomery County, Maryland. Has anybody ever heard of this? Please advise on how to handle this because I want immigration to know the truth about this marriage and the grounds of divorce. I thought EVERY divorce creed that immigration gets has Cruelty/real reason for divorce noted. This one will just say Absolute Divorce granted or something like that...

Hi guys. We sent my AOS of status on December 21st and today I got a RFE, they say they couldn t determine if my husband qualifies as an sponsor. Last tax recent year (2020) my husband made 27,149 wich is a little below the 125%, now he makes 52,000. He stated this year working in a company that he left in June then started working subcontracted for 6 months and in December they contracted my husband directly, it s physically the same company but he is not on the payroll directly. So my husband now has only like 2 weeks working with this company directly, we sent 6 last paystubs of the subcontractors and the offer letter of the main company, he only has 2 weeks working directly with this company, and not time to fill taxes again. What ca we do in this case? We know he make enough and we don t have someone for joint sponsor as USCIS suggest if it s needed we just need to prove he makes enough is my guessing but we don t know where to start or how to do it. Attached the RFE letter.

Hello everyone! I m looking for some information, I m sorry if this has been asked before! I m still working my way around this site! I m currently in the process of getting married (on the 14th) but i was reading the checklist for the CR1, my fianc and i have a son together he ll be 6 months on the 19th. He has his dads last name but our son was born in the United States so his dads name isn t on the birth cerftificate. Can i still add his birth certificate in the CR1 packet? I m also pregnant with our second baby. I know that s probably not proof of anything until the baby is born but so i add that into our process too? Also, my fianc s birth certificate, does it need to say his whole name? (Dominican republic) It just says his first name? So im confused. I told him it needs to say his whole name, so we will be seeing if we can get one like that! Thank you in advance! God bless everyone and stay safe!
