Hello Everyone, My husbands case has been refused since April 2021, and was giving a 221g because they needed more evidence of our marriage. We been married since 2018 we sent pictures, passport stamps, money transfers that we have sent each other, and bank statements in our name. It's been 8 months already and nothing. We have escalated the case and called the embassy and nothing changes. They case has updated like 5 times, but still on refused, and everything they answer anything through traveldocs is the same generic message please wait 180 days. It's been more than that and still nothing we don't know what else to do. Any one has gone through this?

Welcome and Congratulations on your approval! This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. A few helpful NVC links: NVC phone number is (603)334-0888 Best time to call is first thing in the morning or late in the evening to avoid any extended wait times. Once you ve received your NVC case number you can track your case online using the following link, until it is sent to your embassy: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV If you need to change an address or need to update your info in anyway NVC has a public inquiry form where you can submit your request: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Inside the attached PDF below are a few tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. These are items that everyone asks for, so they have been put together by Greenbaum for you to refer to when necessary. If you are new to thisthreadplease read as these are most asked questions multiple times. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing Below you ll find the 2022 Shipping Dates calendar I created so you can track when your case might be sent from NVC to your embassy.

Hi! I got lots of great advice with the other post I made - thank you all! I have a few follow-up questions: Background: My sister is from the Dominican Republic (living there now) and is engaged to a USC living in the US. She has an 18 year old unmarried son. They are trying to figure out the best way for both my sister and her son to come to the US. I know it's best for them to make their own account but I offered to help with this website as English is my native language. K1 was recommended and they want to do that. 1. If they file a K1 for my sister, how do they file a K2 for her son? If there is a guide for this, can someone link it for me? I can only find the K1 guide. There should be some place for him to submit passport pictures and such, though, right? 2. With a k1, is the processing time for both sister and nephew the same, and is it roughly 1-1.5 years with no complications? 3. If the time period is the same and K1 and K2 visas are granted at the same time can both sister and nephew fly to the US at different times if it's before the six months are up? 4. If they do get married, file CR1 and wait to file for nephew after she becomes a PR, that could mean a MUCH longer time period to wait for him- even though the CR1 visa is superior in some other ways, right? Thank you all.

Hello everyone. I want to change my last name to my husbands last name. He is the beneficiary and I am the petitioner. If I do that do I need to notify USCIS that my last name changed or no?
