US Immigration from Dominican Republic

A little background story to my questions. I came to the US at the age of 11. I pretty much grow up here not knowing the difference between being a citizen or permanent resident as weird as it sounds it wasnt important for me. I know plenty of ppl that came to this country as early as 1 years old and as adults found themselves being deported for committing criminal offenses and not knowing they could have gotten deported because they were not citizens. Some ppl live their whole life as LPRs not knowing the difference. I was one of those . Anyways fast forward 20 something years to 2019 when I decided to became a citizen because at that time i was an adult & well informed. For my N-400 interview i didnt have to bring much just prove my child support was current and a couple of dispositions of things that happened during my teenage years. My question is after how many years does the requirement of alot information like tax returns & employement status is not needed? Or was my interview unique in the sense that the IO didnt ask me for no paper work other than the ones i mentioned.

We are going to be filing in December. I read the guide but am wondering if someone has a list of evidence that people actually commonly send and in what format? Ex I know affidavits are on the list from USCIS but do people commonly send those because I know for K1 they weren't actually commonly sent. Here's a list of what I'm planning to send and would love feedback about it.

-Our son's birth certificate

-Evidence from our symbolic marriage with family and friends (receipts, invites, program, photos) - not show how I'll package/format all of this

-Joint Tax Returns from the past 2 years

-Insurance Policies that we are both on

-Documentation of trips we've taken the past 2 years

-Photos from the past 2 years

-Cards/Mail we have received addressed to both of us as well as our Christmas cards the past 2 years

-Bills from the past couple of months in both of our name

-Affidavits from 2 people?

(We cannot send in lease/mortgage info as I already owned my home prior to him coming and we have not bought a vehicle together)

This question is based on my brother's current situation.

My brother is the beneficiary and his wife had someone file out there I-130 form ( from the Dominican rep. to USA) and the person who filed the form out forgot to file out question 62 on form I-130 ( the beneficiary will not apply for adjustment of status in the us, but he or she will apply for an immigrant visa aboard at the us embassy) so USCIS, still approved the petition but stated they are retaining it while they fill out form I-824. They filed it out and it was received on 9/15/2022. According to the USCIS it stated that the processing time for this particular form is 5 months. Is there any likelihood that it will be sooner?

My k1 visa has been approved 11-4-22 and we haven t got the passport back from the embassy. What is everyone s experience with the timeframe in the Dominican Republic? The website says it should be received in 10 working days. Please advise.

Quick question! Do we have to send out the naturalization certificate again to renew an expired passport?. What type of documents would be good enough for a renewal?
