Hello everyone! My mother in law has an appointment for her tourist visa on June 4, 2024. But she would like for her appointment to be sooner. Is there any way we can get her appointment scheduled sooner?

Welcome and Congratulations on your approval! This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. A few helpful NVC links: NVC phone number is (603)334-0888 Please note: They are currently NOT answering queries over the phone! They are answering through the below email : NVCinquiry@state.gov Once you ve received your NVC case number you can track your case online using the following link, until it is sent to your embassy: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV If you need to submit an inquiry, change an address , or need to update your info in anyway NVC also has a public inquiry form where you can submit your request as well as other requests: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Also, inside the attached PDF below are a few tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. These are items that everyone asks for, so they have been very helpfully put together by senior VJ Member Greenbaum for you to refer to when necessary. If you are new to this thread, please read these first as these are the most asked questions. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A FB group has created a shipping chart for 2023 that you can use to track when the next shipment date will be. It seems to line up with all the dates I ve seen so far so I think it s accurate and will include it below.

Hello, I am asking this question for my father-in-law. My FIL, who is a Legal Permanent Resident, petitioned for his wife, who was living in the Dominican Republic, and her daughter was a derivative of that petition. So, now that that process is completed, they arrived in the US a couple of weeks ago, we are wondering what the daughter can do to bring over her young daughter who is 6 years of age. When we were filling out her DS-260, we indicated that the daughter had a child and the plan was for her child to immigrate at a later date. The question is, what do we have to do to initiate this process to allow the child to join her mother here in the US? From what I researched, there is a "follow-to-join" option for them to use, though I'm not sure how to exactly start the process at this point. I look forward to hearing back from anyone who can shed some light on this, as she misses her child dearly and I want to help them reunite as quickly as possible. Thank you, Vincent

Hey, I hope you can guys help us. We sent our application in August 30th, 2022nd, and got the NOA1 in September 1st, 2022nd.Since then, I ve been reading a lot of these forums, and see how IMPORTANT the letter of intent to marry is. However, we only gathered the documents our lawyer told us to get, and the letter wasn t within them. We even asked him afterwards, and his answer was: For my first 15 years of practice, such a statement was not required We ve been together for 5 years, and have been visiting back and forth, so we provided many pictures, flight tickets, call/video calls and all possible evidence of a bona fide relationship. What do you think we could to fix that based on your experience? Has any of this ever happened to you?
