Hey all! Finally at the NVC stage. Working on the DS-260. As many probably know addresses in other countries do not necessarily follow an American format - and are more like a description of how to get there. What have others filled in for the address line one - because the whole address is not going to fit - even using the option line two. For now I just wrote the name of El barrio and city (Tierra Blanca de Nicoya). Same problem with employment addresses and history. On the I-130 forms it gave the option for additional information to where I could enter it completely - but, not on the DS-260 from what I can see. Any help and/or advice welcomed!

Hey there - we are also a couple applying from Costa Rica - The list of required vaccinations is quite long and includes some that aren't very common for Costa Ricans to receive - like Hep A and B, Rotavirus, etc. How did you go about getting those vaccinations for your spouse?

And for the vaccinations they already had, was it easy to get proof? How did you get the proof?

Thanks so much if you have a chance to respond.

I 751, received 2 identical receipt notices

While waiting to hear about the possible interview for my husband to complete the I-751 process, something strange has happened. On November 11th, we received his original receipt notice and then about a week after he received the information to get his fingerprints taken and it stated that it would be extended for 24 months past the expiration date.

On MyUSCIS is says this:

December 7, 2022 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
November 1, 2022 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
However today, we received an identical receipt notice to the one we got in November however now it says 48 months past the expiration date. Has this happened to anyone else?
I also noticed that the beneficiary and petitioner are both listed as my husband even though we filled out the section saying that we had applied jointly and we both signed it. Should we be concerned?

Hi all,

My son's fiancee is getting ready for her k-1 interview and working through the checklist that the embassy sent her. It's been a long time since my wife and I went through this process, so I don't remember the form numbers. but they mention both the DS-160 and DS-260 forms on the checklist in two different areas. I don't know if it's a typo or what.

  • ( ) Each applicant must complete (in English) the on line Form DS 160, Nonimmigrant Visa Application, in the following website: http://evisaforms/state.gov.

When you have completed the form, print the Confirmation Sheet twice, this contains barcodes on the top right and button left side.

  • To perform the medical examinations, each applicant needs to bring the DS 260 confirmation form and 7 2x2 inch photographs.

They will contact the embassy but any help would be appreciated in the mean time.

Hello there, my husband was working self employed and he did not meet the requirements 2 of the last 3 year (because the Civid 19) he is more of a cash person and there isn't much proof of income, now He got a new job with W-2 6 months ago, his annual income is above the minimum, but after we filled the i864, they NVC replied to us he did not meet the criteria. So now we don't know if we should file a new i864 with his new job, because only has been working 6 months. Still the last 3 years dont meet the minimum l. We listed our house in US, as an asset to help us meet the requirements. But they seems to be ignoring that part. We still don't have an interview appointment. What should we do now?
