US Immigration from Colombia

I am looking for a table of the process time for I601 and I212. I know they are handled by the Nebraska office but it would be good to have the experiences of the forum members who are in this process. Thanks if anyone wants to share their experience.

Due to COVID delays in processing my step-daughter-to-be turned 21. Let's call her Mary.

Today we got the email from the Embassy in Bogota, Colombia saying it is time to apply for the visas. The email listed by fianc e and her 10 year old son by name but it did not list Mary. It didn't say she was denied either. Does this mean Mary is being denied due to aging out? Has anyone had any luck appealing a decision to deny a K2 visa due to aging out due to COVID processing delays?

I had written to my congressional representative's office and they were of the opinion that such delays should not count against her but that opinion is not a guarantee.

The U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 Sec. 3107 is on point and would address this aging out problem for K2 visas but that has not passed yet.

Aargh.

My wife is a Colombian national. I am a US citizen. We are waiting for approval. After approval and we are in the US can she return to Colombia to give birth and stay a couple of months? She is not pregnant now but could be when we arrive in the US. Thanks.

Hi guys, I have been losing sleep for the past two weeks thinking and reading and can't get a definite answer on my own. I am currently living in Bogota Colombia with my Fiance. I lost my job in March 2020 due to COVID where I was making around 38,000 and filing taxes for the past 4 years under that same amount. I am currently working as a Professor in Bogota but dont make that here. My joint sponsor backed out last minute because he is moving to another country. When my k1 get to the embassy and I can book an interview my game plan is to go back to the states to obtain employment. I know I can get a job there that would pay annually to be above the poverty limit. We would be 2 and my future cosponsor is just 1. He has made over 40,000 in the past two years but his mother died this year he took some time off and is only set to make around 24,000 this year. He offered to sponsor but i am not sure what would be better? What should I do. Thank you guys for your responses .....

So I am about to submit my N-400. One question has me stumped. Do you have any children? I do not. My husband (USC) has an adult daughter from a previous marriage. We asked an atty and she said to include since it needs to be consistent with the paperwork we filed for AOS. We did NOT include my husband's daughter info on the AOS paperwork (there was a question about dependents, where he listed her as "1." But that's it. Has anyone seen others ask this question in the past? Include the step-daughter on my application or not? She' 25+, employed, college-educated, and supports herself. Thoughts?
